I just ordered some e-juice from virgin vapors and yes tell on the site that their juices could cause some tanks to melt or crack. I was just wondering. Has anyone experienced this and if how can I prevent it. And also I wanted to know is it safe to constantly vape as in take a few pulls wait 10 min n take a few more. I don't feel bad or anything but that doesn't mean it's ok

hello. you don't have to wait ten min. Allot of companies will probably let you know that cinnamon and highly citric juices can crack the poly tank. I vape virgin vapor juice and have not had any issue. Their juices are organic. Then again, I don't vape a bunch of cinnamon or highly citric juices

There is a running thread here of known and reported flavors that can crack or melt polycarbonate-type plastic (clear). Currently there are two flavors listed from Virgin Vapors. Should the flavor you used not be on the list, it would be appreciated to add your flavor and the vendor to the thread to make it more complete for other vapors such as yourself.

There are no reports that vaping these so-called volatile juices are unharmful in any way, other than the fact that inhaling the material leached from the plastic obviously would not be a good idea. Used in a safer container, such as glass or a safer plastic such as polypropylene (frosted), these flavors are perfectly safe.

To anyone not familiar with polypropylene or glass tanks, here are inexpensive recommendations for one of each:

Pyrex glass tanks

IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us! This vendor makes high quality, durable, yet inexpensive glass tanks starting at less than $18.

You will get a pyex tube of the length and diameter that you choose. Choose from a wide selection of stainless steel or acrylic endcaps. A selection of drips tips and cartomizers are offered for sale separately.

Polypropylene plastic tanks

510 Pro DCTank Combo This is a complete tank kit including a polypropylene tube, metal endcaps, drip tip, and a 5-pack of cartomizers.

Polypropylene is a plastic material safe for use with the volatile flavors. It is the same material used in medical syringes. It has a frosted appearance, unlike the crystal clear plastic of polycarbonate.

Hi. About the vaping frequency question: There is no right or wrong answer to this one. Just as much as there is no way to directly correlate what is the "right" amount to vape compared to what you used to smoke. There are too many variables: How much you used to smoke. When and where. How efficient your body is as absorbing nicotine from vaping. (Some people get a lot more nic out of vaping than other people do.) How much the oral fixation/hand to mouth thing is an issue for you. What nic level you are using in your liquids... And stuff like that.

All that, and the fact that vaping is a very different experience from smoking. With a cigarette, you had a 'natural' pattern to things: Once you lit a cigarette you either had to finish it or waste it as it sat there and turned to ash. With vaping, more effort is required: You don't 'start a vape' and 'finish a vape'. Every time you want a hit you have to pick up your pv and push a button. The bigger problem for most noobs isn't worrying about whether they are vaping too much, it's having to figure out how to vape enough to keep those early quit smoking cravings at bay. You will find your own pacing but as a general concept vaping a few hits every ten minutes apart doesn't sound like very much to me.

I purchased two Vision tanks only to have them not function...possibly due to the cracks that quickly formed. I used Virgin Vapor's Vanilla Blackberry Swirl and Black Cherry Marshmallow. One of the tanks didn't have any cracks, it just wouldn't draw and whistled!?

The Vision vivi nova v2.5 are made of polypropylene which is ok with those juices, if that's what you were using. If the tank wouldn't draw there are a few possible reasons. It would help to know what tank you were using as Vision make more than one kind.
