Tank flavor mixing

I was wondering if anyone else does what I call tank flavor mixing? It is like the 100 drop test.
Like most of you I have several tanks and mods so if I screw up no biggie. I use my subtank for this.
What I do is put 4ml of my vg-pg mix into the tank then add my 4 drops of nicotine or more. Then I put in what ever flavors I want. My mind is very creative but sometimes the juice doesn't always turn out like I think it will lol. If I like it I know what flavors I used then make like a 10 ml bottle of it. If I don't I dump it out then just run straight vg/pg and vape it till the flavor is gone and try again. Some flavors added one drop is too much so I take a tooth pick put part of it in the flavor and then mix my tank with it.

My biggest concern would be poor mixing of components. For the flavoring, that might be less important, but is there some reason you don't add nicotine to your PG/VG ahead of time?
On the whole, I think I'd find a small bottle to put it all together and shake.

I have a dump bottle. All "empty" bottles and tanks get drained into this Bottle. I even squirt the excess from the droppers and syringes from when I am making DIY juice. I don't worry about the nicotine level.. Because of dilution oxidation and heat(tanks) I know it will always have less nic then the juice it came from. Beside I can just take a taste vape and adjust it with more PG, VG, NIC or Flavor. When it comes time to vape it or fertilize a plant with it.
