If anyone has the syringe type tank mod I sure could use some help.I'm using a regular CE2 cartomizer in mine which I made a mini tank.I have no leaks around the seal. Its leaking down the middle under the rubber cup that goes over the heating element down the air shaft coming out the bottom.I have it pushed down all the way over that.It only does it after it sits for awhile.Hits like a champ though, just seems its wicking too good are too fast.I used a 20ml syringe to make this. The bigger CE2 XL syringe tank does not do this, its just this mini that is.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I had to do the pictures as video link because for some reason I could upload from the computer,so they are pictures only no video.

The element cap is all the way down over the element. It just seems to be wicking too fast, but I guess that's better then not at all lol.I just took the original clearomizer tube drilled 2 holes about 1/4 inch down stuck the cartomizer back through and pulled the wicks out of the holes. Then put the cap down on the element stuck that tube in my tank filled with juice put on my drip tip.Wham it no longer has that leak problem. So I have a tube in a tank mod lol.You gotta go with what works right?

State of Confusion
I never lay my tanks on the side but sometimes have problems with air tube leaks. I have really traced this back to all the goofy ways I tilt my tanks when I use them. I now put 2 'doughnut' rings on top of my ceramic cup rather than the usual silicon fitting and make sure i get them snugged back down when I refill or adjust the top tube. Takes care of it for me.

The Liquinator tanks are all I use now. Love them. I'm the proud owner of 10 3ml's and 5 5ml's (just bought). The 5mls are going to be used for dual coil or ikenvape mega's that I have. Damn nice tanks and you can lay them on their sides without any leaking. They are worth the money IMO.

I gave up on the ce2's because they just don't work like they should without some modding. I got tired of constantly having to fiddle and fool with the things. When they work , they work great but for the most part, they don't.

Well,,, That is as close as one can get to a Gummy tank without Just naming it "GUMMY TANK".

(damn, where's my royalty check? I'd have been happy if he would have just gave me credit for the idea)

Didn't you post that up for people to use for their ......personal use..... and not as an available for production type thing ????

....Like about 10 months or so ago ...August or September ?????? (I've tried to find the thread to put with that post from the other day)

Yes I did. The Gummy Tank was 1st posted in Nov. 2010 here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/atomizer-mods/135579-disappointed-ce2-try-17.html#post2193652 And in several threads where I talked about it, I did say "For Personal Use ONLY" . Here is one such thread. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/143733-another-18650-mod-7.html#post2899746 A search on this forum will give you 2 pages of discussions about my design going back to Nov. 2010. So there is no way one can say it is not my design.

Even at this late date it would be proper for him to contact me and inquire about production permissions.

Unfortunately, this is the real world where every idea gets copied for profit.

How many types of tanks, VV devices and bottom feeders are available today? These were ALL designed by modders and shared ideas on a forum at some point. It goes all the way back to the first battery mod.

I'm not saying it's right, just stating a fact.
