ok, I've got a few tanks, and I seem to be burning the cartos out far more than would seem right. I've used ikenvapes gold v2, fusion 801's, and boge 3ohm.. I've heard people say the top of their carto looks slushy when using a tank. my carto top always looks dry. I've cut 2 slots in then, punked 2 holes, cut bigger slots, an I always have this problem.

I vape a DIY that's got 5ml vg out of 30ml, which is something like 18% vg. I do take pretty long hard hits.. I don't do the soft hit thing.. I've tried, and it doesn't work for me.

now, does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

thanks
pat

When the top of the filler seems dry to me I remove my driptip, cover the hole with my finger and use centrifugal force to throw the liquid "up". A couple of quick flicks of the wrist, like shaking a thermometer, usually gets the tip of my finger wet. Be sure to cover the end to prevent the juice from spraying and, even worse, the tank flying off the carto! I do it while attached to my PV. After "throwing" the liquid to the top, a couple of un-fired pulls (watch for bubbles) to saturate the filler where the top liquid came from (at the bottom).

My DC cartos only last about 3-4 days. I use high VG (+85%) thinned with PG and PGA. I also start them around 4v and increase voltage as production drops until they just taste burnt.
