Tank Sub-Ohming and VG/PG

I have the Aspire Atlantis 2, the Triton, and K-box Subtank. I have been buying juices from local shops without paying a whole lot of attention to the VG/PG ratios, until one salesman advised against a high VG brand because it was too thick for tanks.
So I started educating myself on that a bit, while perusing some tasty looking flavors online.

It turns out that the Farleys Gnarley Sauce (Bad Drip) that was giving me huge clouds last night out of my Atlantis and has DELICIOUS flavor happens to be 80/20. No dry hits or problems wicking, either.

Another favorite, Strawberry Cheesecake by Bon Appetit, is 60/40.

I'm sure I was gonna ask a question somewhere...I must be high from all this deliciousness.

Anybody ever try Ronin brand juices (70/30) in a tank?

I am new to vaping and am considering an upgrade from my ego one to a Evic mini VTC 75w with a Silo Beast sub ohm tank to get a compact and durable setup which provides higher output warm bursts because I enjoy desert flavors like custards and cheesecakes. I am trying to understand the vg/pg ratio's as I prefer flavor over smoke content although I do enjoy a nice solid puffy cloud. Why do people prefer high vg juices? do they produce more smoke or are they more flavorable? Do you think I would have any problems with thickness of juices in my proposed setup?

From what I have been reading:
high VG=bigger clouds
PG is what gives flavor
But I got awesome flavor plus a big cloud from a juice that's 80VG/20PG
So, it can still vary.
But with a really high VG (like 80+) the wicks in tanks can have a hard time drawing in that thick juice, resulting in dry hits which burn your coil.

People who prefer high VG usually have drip types and chase HUGE, 'fill the room' clouds (just what I've gathered).
Maybe we can get some veterans in here to chime in. I'm still relatively new to this as well.
