tank suggestions?

Hello! This is my first post but I've been stalking around for about 3 weeks now! So first off, I want to say thank you to everyone who has helped me without even knowing they've helped!

I started with a Volcano inferno w/tube tank set up... Volcano has a store in my area, and some friends turned be on to it (and off of analogs... well, almost, down to 3-4 a day without any struggle... going to attempt to cut out 1 more in another week or so!).

Then I got my tax return and bought an apoloe mini kit with c8 clearomizers and c9 clearomizers. Also, at the same time, I got an ego spinner and opted for the vision 3.5ml tank.

Here are my complaints/problems: The apoloe battery is great, but the clearomizers leave something to be desired... both have a burnt taste after about 5 or 6 puffs, and the c9 seems to decrease the throat hit (I don't want a big throat hit, but it doesn't curb the analog craving for me at all if there's no hit!). The tube tank/carto combination from volcano works good for some of the juices, but some of them don't wick well and the polyfill burns and then it's nasty of course. I understand why this happens (too thick, too vg, etc), but I need to know what to do to make it stop happening!!!

Here's what I'm looking for: a tank or clearomizer (something that's going to hold at least 2ml) that will work for an ego or the volcano inferno (preferable interchangeably, but i'm most interested in something for the volcano, as I'm not in the position to upgrade to the mini-provari that I am craving so much right now and I refuse to buy anymore batteries etc. until I get my hands on a provari!!!) and I don't want to toss aside my first ecig investment completely! Also, as some of my favorite juices seem to be on the thicker end, I need something that will work with thicker liquids. They're not higher VG really, just thicker it seems. Also, excuse my vanity, but I would like it to look nice. And I'm willing to put out the money for something that has a good rep and will suit my needs.

Thanks for your help!

Side note: I put in my order for Boba's Bounty and Gorilla juice this morning and I'm far too excited about it!!! I hope they're as good as everyone says!

I've been involved in a lusty affair with my Kangertech Protanks since I got them about a week and a half ago. If one of the flavor wicks (extra two or three wicks atop the coiled wick) is removed, it'll wick even the thickest of juices without breaking a sweat. Dry hits have become nothing but a memory of the days of yore.

Recently, some have been complaining about some leaking issues with their Protanks. I haven't had a single drop go astray with either of mine, I guess I got lucky. Quality control is something of a foreign concept in China where the Protanks are manufactured so there's a bit of luck involved in getting a specimen without defects.

You get what you pay for, however. I'd be willing to bet a USA made clearo in the style of the Protank would cost at least $40.

the J-tanks seem like a nice option... I like that I can pick a color! Any suggestions about cartos? I'm beginning to get turned off of them because of the burn problems I've had with the volcano cartos (note: these work well for a good 2 weeks for most juices, it's just those couple of thicker ones that don't seem to like them!). Should I invest in a carto punch thingamajig so I can go on using a carto/tank set up?

And the Kangertech Protanks look super smooth! I'm definitely going to invest in at least one of those.

any guess at the dimensions for either of these? I have an adapter that will smooth things out for my spinner, but I'm wondering if they'll look good on my mini egos (about 14mm diameter) and my infernos (about 15mm diameter).

Again, please excuse my vanity! First and foremost are functionality, but if I can make it look good, all the better!!!

And I'm still a few days off from my actual purchasing of anything! So please keep the suggestions coming!!!

The Protank comes with a "beauty cone" that threads onto the ego threads to give it a streamlined look on the skinnier eGo-type batteries.

-tanks to be used with cartos-
a Kir Fanis Tank? Kir Fanis Tanks
a Siam Mod one? SIAM MODS

-clearomizers-
a Kanger one, or a Vivi Nova

thank you for the suggestions, but it looks like the sellers for the 1st two don't ship to the U.S.
the vivi nova has proven good for me, i may stick with that, but i'm going to try some kanger products and maybe that j tank... i'm not sure though, i'm trying to get away from the cartomizers with the polyfill...

Speaking of a filler-less cartomizer... I recently got to try a few of the new Phoenix Raven carto tanks and I am delighted with the flavor and vapor production. My first 2 are going strong after a few refills, both with VG. A rather airy draw, but a good thick body to the full flavored vapor. Surprisingly good, for me, so far.

GotVapes PHOENiX Raven™ Tank 510 Bottom Coil 3.5ml 2.6-2.8ohm [gv-PhoenixRaven-3.5ml-CLEAR] - $9.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Only thing is refilling is a pain, unless I use one of those special funnel tools for tanks.

That's only available to ALPHA members. I'm not sure what that means exactly, but that is really interesting. How do you control the flow of juice to the bottom coil?

Kanger has admitted there are issues:

"KangerTech’s official response regarding the leak, and temporary Protank price hike.
Its been a real rough few days for Sun-Vapers. But we keep pushing forward and got some great news from KangerTech.

So as many people know there is a defect in some of the Kanger Protanks that SV (information) have been exchanging with our remaining tested stock. KangerTech happened to be viewing my blog and noticed I was taking exchanges. Danny Zhu himself contacted me via video Skype and deeply apologized for the defect and let me know his team has identified and fixed the issue in the manufacturing process. KangerTech will replace any defectives I have from faulty workmanship and exchange them for good stock.

The most interesting part, is they contacted me first and was very aggressive in making this perfect. I was waiting on the returns to come in before I sent them information on the issue so I can demonstrate the problem. The fact they took a assertive approach to fix this and make things right with me is a testament to their commitment to merchants and end users.

I asked Danny Zhu to shoot me an email after our conversation so I can take a screen shot for my blog."

Good to see a company stand behind their product and try to make things right. Wish all companies would do the same.
