OK, I just joined the forums, and was sick of an 808, the tiny battery life, and that fact that it still looked like a cig.
I took the plunge and spent a fair amount of money for me on an Apollo vtube mini, and a DCT tank system with carto core.
First, I tried it right outta the box. The vape was a weak, and tasted a bit burnt even after taking a few good long drags without firing it. I had bubble come out the hole in the carto, thinking that was soaking the fill. The vape is completely inconsistent. Sometimes its pretty good, sometimes is fairly airy and tasteless. Sometimes its kinda burnt tasting.
Its a 3 ohm dual element tank (DCT) system. I thought maybe the tank/cart combo just sucked, so I tried dripping with just the included atty. I put a few drip on it and took a few hit... it was ok. So then I thought I wasn't dripping enough so I put 8-10 drips in and it seems to run out of the atty and onto/into the vtube.
What gives? Did I hurt the vtube when dripping?
What am I doing wrong? What should the battery voltage be to get good vape?!
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks.
