I just ordered my first eVic from HDV. I have always been a KR808 guy. (I really like the V4L batteries and the dial-a-volt and I get my 808 cartos and tanks from Vapor Kings or Madvapes.) So....when it comes to what tanks to use I am completely clueless!

Any recommendations?

Generally, I don't vape a lot of tank crackers but I do like an occasional citrus juice. Some of the juices I get from different vendors (like Mom & Pop) definitely gunk up my hardware and I just ordered a bunch of 100% VG juice from Velvet Cloud Vapor. Any special recommendations for those?

Thanks in advance!

Tucson, it's a dry heat
Protanks and the like look awesome on evics. I use Evods a lot too, but they look funky. If you use evods, get a ego to 510 adapter to save your 510 threads and to raise them up so that they are more functional (I hate the recessed ego threading with evods.) I just got a tatroe - haven't tried it yet, but I bet it makes the evic top heavy!

The Tatroe looks like a beast! That's a lot of metal. I bet it would pretty much last a lifetime though.

If you find that you just burn through a Protank too fast, there's always the PuriTank. Holds even MORE juice goodness.

Protanks are great for citrus flavors and the tank goes well with the Evic. As typical with a bottom coil tank, the vape will be on the cool side. If you prefer a warmer vape, I find the iClear 30 is a good match with the Evic, keeping in mind as it is a typical poly carbonate body, tank-cracker juices will kill it.

great for citrus in that it doesn't crack the tank i guess.
doesn't make it taste better.
still find vivis to have a better flavour than the iclears.
they have dual coils as well now too.
but even their single coils give better flavour than the iclears.
might just be me though.

I've heard people say that the Protank mutes flavors compared to the Vivi Nova, but I have the opposite experience. Now it's not with all flavors, some taste nearly as strong in either tank. However, one of my favorite blueberry juices has very little flavor in the Vivi Nova while tasting absolutely wonderful in my Protank 2.

My preference also lies with the Protank in the draw department. I can't stand the super tight draw of the Vivi Nova. It's annoying and can give me a headache if I try to puff on it too long.

Of course, all these issues come down to personal preference. I've tried a lot of hardware to find what works for me, and sometimes the popular opinion might not be what works best for you specifically.

The best response here. I've tried most of the popular tanks and clearos and truth to tell though I like the Pro Tank 2, there is no tank or clearo without flaws, and for that matter some ejuices vape better to me in a top coil clearo, some in a bottom coil clearo.

Rather than buy a slew on anything...buy one, try it, and then decide if it works for you!
