Have you considered the Kanger MT3?
It has a 3ml capacity, is bottom coil, and easily fits on to an eGo. You shouldn't have any problem finding replacement attys for a Kanger.
Should be small enough for you.

I say stay with the protank, It's glass too which means you won't have to worry about juice cracking the plastic clearo's. I wouldn't suggest a purse, but a vapour fanny pack maybe?
I seem to always have a backpack wich is great for keeping supplies in, but if I were to choose I'd get one of those slim shoulder over chest strappy things that are really small and you can keep all sorts in there!
