Happy to be... Not Smoking!!!
I am usually impressed with Provape and have just purchased 2 P3s. ONLY after I did some research and found that by taking the z atty pro and some vise grips I was able to take the skirt off. It will now sit on the p3, but not flush because the length on the 510 connection is long. This is fine for me because I only use the zap at home and don't really care about its appearance....but still, why can't they come out with an adapter that will take up some space on this 510 connection and make it sit flush? Easy and cheap to make...

I am not impressed with their handling us Z atty pro users, we are the forgotten. The zap was sold by them for a solid 2 years at $150 per pop and mysteriously disappears from their site when the p3 comes out. I suspect it is because they want to sell us new gear with the p3 threading. Why should we when we purchased a great product that nothing is wrong with? I throw caution in the wind for those interested about the p3 threading. What happens when 'the p4' comes out and you find that all your p3 gear won't fit because of an unwillingness on their part to make it so?

I love provape when it comes to everything else, but feel this was handled poorly. We are not talking about a product that was purchased elsewhere... it was their baby. To say it was made 'exclusively' for the Provari V2.5, unacceptable. An ego tank is designed for an ego connection. Thus, adapters are made to make ego tanks fit other things. What make the zap so different? Where is the logic?

When you bought the tank... It only fit the Provari.

Did you say then, well this won't fit my X, Y, or Z? No you didn't.

Times are changing, and so is the tire size on my vehicles.

Wadya mean it don't take 15 inch tires.

Why not call the folks that made the Z-Atty Pro, and get the parts you need to convert it to a Z-Atty?

I really like the tapered top cap, to me it's unique, speaks of quality workmanship. There's a reason the eVIC and so many other mods copied the look of the ProVari including the top cap. I don't mind using a beauty ring for 22mm attys, but when I'm using a 19mm atty, that tapered cap is muy caliente.

No offense, but its called progress. If they spend all their engineering efforts trying to satisfy users of legacy products with their NEW products, they'll never make any progress. When you bought the ZAP, you were promised compatibility with the Provari 2, you weren't promised support for future products until the end of time. The ZAP was a hack devised around an inferior connector platform (slanted 510 top cap). The P3 thread/top cap is an improvement and progress. The skirt on the ZAP was made to hide the slanted top cap. Well, if we are trying to improve the 510 and slanted top cap, how can you do that by guaranteeing support for a device that requires that slanted top cap, only to then HIDE it? Products reach an end of life with support, thats just a fact of life. Companies need to move on and generate new products to generate new revenue. Revenue is kind of important to sustain an operation. And making progress and improvements is a part of that.
