Taryn refill...MUST use .... Plug!

I'm very very new to this whole e cig thing. Just started the week of Thanksgiving and just last week all of you V4L's encouraged me to switch to Vapor Kings. WOW....first thing I did was to try "Taryn's refilling method". VERY VERY IMPORTANT LESSON LEARNED: YOU MUST USE THE .... PLUG AND A CONDOM with this method.

Why? You ask? well I'll tell ya. As I'm slinging around the battery bag with the newly filled cartomizer, juice is hitting me in the face and spattering around my dresser. PLUS, I couldnt get much 'juice' into the cartridge.

Soooooooooo, I go back and ready Taryn's post again and the only thing I didnt do was use the .... plug and condom on the battery end. WELL DUH! all the juice spattering everywhere was comming from the battery end of the cart, through the bag!

Back I go to 'refill' all those refilled carts USING .... PLUG AND CONDOM and voila. IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM!

Hope this helps all other 'refill challenged' newbies like me out there like me.

i actually got hit in the eye with juice when i tried and forgot the BP. luckily it burn so bad after rinse.

I have this mental image of you dripping juice in one end and slinging it out the other. Over and over again. I also could see that going on until next year. Both funny and not funny at the same time.

I wasted a cart worth of juice before realizing the plug and cap where needed so dont feel bad. I added drops, spun, added drops, spun, added drops, spun....well about five times till I realized something was not quite right lol. The juice on the counter and the bag also was a dead give away. Anywho after I learned that and learned to not over fill the things, it becomes super easy.

I got caught in the eye myself. Never do that again! Also, learned to never try to "blow out" an over filled cart in the truck with the AC blowing in your face(ouch again)

Thanks for all the replies. Now I dont feel so bad knowing "for sure" I have others who were 'refill challenged' like me.

I'm still trying to learn how much is just enough when refilling. I use a syringe but still havent quite figured out the magic number (in ml). I start with 1/2ml then spin, another 1/2 spin again but for some reason (hard headed maybe?) I always think I can add just a little more.... I will learn sooner or later.
