I'm on about week 4 of no analogues, I feel great, but I recently lost the ability to taste my e juices. This started the night before last, and I was worried it was my atty, I've only had it for a few days but was told I hit them pretty hard by a local brick and mortar. I tried different juices, a disposable, and my 808. I was starting to get frustrated and disheartened, really though this wasn't going to work out for me. I decided to ride the bland out, I have a decent amount of money (for me) invested in this with my Tornado-T, V2, and spread of juices, waste not want not lol.
So I'm heading to work bright and early, vaping with no flavor, remember hearing how much people on these forums keep telling the nubs (me) to drink more water...so, I drink a ton of water, I'm sure my body needed it anyway, and I notice at lunch that my favorite breakfast burrito tastes different, I can taste something that wasn't there before and I'm not the biggest fan of it. Long story made kind of short, this evening I'm actually able to taste my vapes! Not only do I taste them, but all the tobacco flavors I was looking forward to that seemed oddly similar before now taste different, and really good.
I thought it was important to let some of the new guys, who might be like myself, know that if this happens to you it isn't the end of the world (I think). Drink more water, lot's more, and hang tight as this doesn't seem to last long. After a little digging I did find that I wasn't the only person to experience this, as a matter of fact I was quite lucky in that I could still taste most everything else where others have lost all taste completely (part of the healing process when quitting after years of heavy smoking?)
Thanks for reading, hope this helps someone, and if this is commonly known to all buy myself then please disregard lol.
