It may have just gone through a cleaning cycle, although, I have never had a metal/nickel type taste before so I have zero idea.
I'm assuming a topped off/filled cartridge with a new battery?
Is she still smoking ok?

Yeah, sounds like it. You can either try cleaning it (check the cleaning thread) or just try and drown it out with liquid ...
If you didn't blow htrough it too long, the taste and smell should dissipate shortly- just puff without inhaling for a 1/2 hour or so, that should be neough time- it should also work better too after the short cleaning you just gave it by blowing htoruhg it
Sounds dry to me, let the juice soak in and cycle through a bit, or if you have juice, put a couple drops in it and let it soak into the mesh.

Soulja- when I blow through mine, I don't do so more than about 4-5 seconds & it is just enough to give a slight bad taste which diminishes quickly. 10 seconds may be too long- just blow htrough it until ya see a stream oif vapor, and keep it going for abotu 4 seconds.

well,how long have you had the atomiser,what kind of ecig is it,and what kind of liquid are you using?
im asking,because ive managed to get rid of it from 901 atomisers by blowing and drysmoking,but its harder to get rid of from generic pen style atomisers for some reason...
its also happened when ive used a certain liquid that i used to buy from switzerland...
that might be coincidental,but there might be some correlation with the liquid used...
if the atomisers more than a few weeks old,and it doesnt mess up any warrenties,and youve tried blowing etc,it may take a boiling or steaming to sort it out...if all that fails,you just need a new atomiser mate.

the only time i got a massive metal taste was when i was trying to get a non loong battery working on a loong using copper wire. i had it all hooked up working with a piece connecting the two terminals but the taste was metallic for some reason and masked everything else. i have a feeling a part inside your atomizer or battery fell apart and is doing the same.
I have put mine in a pan of boiling water and stired it with a wooden spoon for about 15 min, then left it to dry overnight, blowed through it, and .... Hey presto ....It worked again ... Its been 5 weeks now and only boiled it once so far and its still working.
