So i should vape at 14?

that was based on the 0.6 ohms, but then you posted 0.4 ohms and that works out to 9 watts.

what you should just do is start low and move up gradually.
when it gets too hot, you get a burnt taste
then you just step back down a notch.

Contrary to the popular (and outright WRONG) belief that sub ohm requires more power, its wire gauge, final resistance and the number of coils that dictate how much power a build can handle.

The advice edyle is giving you is spot on. Both in his power recommendations and how to figure out how much power a build can handle through experimentation.

You're just trying to push way too much power to the coils you built, hot legs might make it worse, but no amount of airflow or wicking can overcome just how heavily 23W is overpowering a #26 .4 or .6 ohm single coil. For 23W with a #26 single coil, about 1 ohm would do it.

I've never thought the RBA section of the Subtank mini was designed to work well with the max VG juices. Granted I have 3 of the older model that have the channels on the bottom. The most I've ever pushed was 70VG in mine. I have found that with the older RBAs and 70VG juice, anything over around 20 watts has a tendency to burn because it just can't wick fast enough. I haven't had a chance to try out the new RBAs but plan to when they are available as replacement parts from a US vendor.
