Tasty Vapor IS NOT crap... It's the BEST!

I feel bad that my criticism was taken the wrong way by Mr Tasty Vapor, and I would like to apologize.

When I first considered commenting on the tobacco/Menthol juice, I thought I would PM Geoff directly... but I figured that might be misconstrued as an attempt to get a refund... and hey, it's just money... I'll make more... always do... and there are NO refunds when patronizing the noble cause of the artist!

I also scratched the idea of reviewing in the open, e-liquid Review forum... I didn't want the general populace to see TV in a negative light... so I posted here because I didn't think it would be taken so poorly...

Geoff, I think when I said your menthol tasted like Listerine, your mind and/or emotions interpreted that as a personal attack... it was like I was saying, "Mr Tasty Vapor, and everthing Tasty Vapor is CRAP!" That's not what I was saying... I just wanted you to consider the possibility that one of your flavors might need a little work... that's it!

Let's get one thing straight on the marketing end of things, though... the market you serve so well are the risk-takers and early-adopters... we're NOT average consumers... there are the bulk of potential customers out there who DO NOT like change... and if the legal snafu's ever get resolved in our favor, the companies that make the best-tasting tobacco and tobacco/menthol juices will make a killing... so I think that whole "why would anyone try to replicate analogs" statement is an argument based only on Vaper Bias.

Anyway, if you choose not to take it as constructive criticism, and see my review as a vicious, personal attack... there's nothing I can do about it... I wrote it, and once it's on the Net, it's on forever... if you want to swim in a sea of sycophantic praise and slavish devotion, that is your perogative... but just because YOU ALREADY ARE the Best, don't expect me to ever not tell it like I taste it... I don't do toady well...

But that's all the more I want to say on the subject... and as long as I'm still allowed to order, I'll continue to give you money... so can't we all just get along?

Nothing wrong with constructive critisizm. If I bought menthol that tasted like listerine, you'd bet I'd let the manufacturer know about it. Not to bust balls, but to give them the opportunity to act and make improvements.

Besides, I've vaped stuff that tasted a lot worse than Listerine. Actually, the Listerine flavored juice may have came in handy to wash my mouth after vaping real crap.

They're all from album covers by a german, hardcore industrial band called Megaherz... nothing is finer than listening to industrial music in the german tongue... it's so damned guttural.

I'll find something less scary for ya' Clumsy...

Really, as long as someone qualifies that it's their personal tastebuds talking, and makes constructive input on the flavor (i.e. what they specifically don't like about it) rather than just saying "this tastes horrible! ew!" -- I appreciate seeing it. It's all about tone and language.

(Of course, if it's a Dekang liquid, I fully expect to hear "perfume" or "old gym sock" or "ugh!", but that's not pertinent to this subforum. )

I'm not some emo kid that takes things personally. The "Crap" thread was me just pouring myself out, which I reserve the right to do.

Put in simple numbers, if out of 10 people, 9 like the product and 1 thinks it tastes like ..., the numbers say don't change a thing.

It's the opinion of the majority that determines whether I alter a product or even create a new product.

I'm at the point where I just order the specials from TV. His stuff is that good, and please - the prices are amazing.

The CRAP thing is amazing marketing. Good Job. It reminds me of going to see Primus and yelling "Primus SUcks!"
