Here's mine...
It's a Norse pagan symbol. It's supposed to be a sort of magical compass, carved on ships etc. to help the person always find their way home. I removed three of the compass point symbols and added some runes instead: my son's, my wife's, and my initials. To get the look that I wanted I wound up using one Norse rune, one Anglo-Saxon rune, and one medieval rune. I don't do much traveling, so it's more of a metaphor... not losing track of what's important - family/home.
we were going to have the winners this morning, im still going to try for today, but the holiday has us a bit slammed, so i may not get around to it until tomorrow morning...this means there is still time for more entries!!
