I have been using a Provari mini with 18350s and 18490s for the last year or so... mostly with the Terminator C rba/tank. I miss dripping and am looking for a shorter, high quality mod. I like the box mod size / shape and I like rebuiling attys so I am thinking of getting a mini 2.1 and RM2 but only having a 3 mil bottle might meam i will be refilling 2 or 3 times a day (I can squeeze almost 7 mils in the terminator C tank and usually have to top it off late in the day).
The REO grand is an option but I like the size of the mini 2.1 more...
Question to the mini owners out there - How often do you refill the 3 mil bottle? is it a hassle?

Also - of thr aluminum REOs (mini 2.1 or Grand) which color scheme is the most "stealthy" black with copper vein, black with silver vein??

Yes, the Grand is not as big as it looks. Its body is exactly as tall as a standard business card (but narrower by about 1/4") and about as thick as a pack of smokes. I can "almost" conceal the entire thing (minus the RM2) with my entire female hand (medium female size--very small man size hand?). Imagine the Mini 2.1 is even shorter than that.

Both sizes will come with two bottles, and extras can be bought for $0.65. Very easy to just swap bottles when you need to. As easy as swapping a battery, really. No need to fill bottles during the day. Just unscrew empty, screw in full bottle.

Here's my lady hand concealing a Grand:

And here it is from the front. I have the black wrinkle with silver hammer door (it's got more of a grayish tone to it, not really flashy, "stealthy" IMHO):

I'd seriously think about the grand They're the same price plus it holds more juice and has a bigger battery. It should get you through a whole day of vaping. If you vape more than that an extra bottle and battery doesn't take up much room. If you want to use other RBA's a low profile is another option for an extra 10 bux.

I would say consider the grand over the mini if you are concerned with battery life and refills. It does photograph much larger than it is in actuality. Honestly though - either way you pick you will probably down the road end up with both. The darn reo gene mutation rots your brain into only thinking "NEED MORE REOS" is really pretty weird.

In all seriousness - I wanted a stealthy mini so I got one first and DANG - that is the tiniest most powerful lil thing. BUT I was refilling a lot and cycling a ton of batteries and ordered a Grand- if I didnt already have a mini I wouldve thought it were a mini! lol. Its so much smaller than it seemed.

No matter what you decide - hope you enjoy! May your juice bottle never run dry :)

Thanks for the quick replies folks (the REO forum is the best). I am leaning toward the Grand based on Hypatia's and Mackman's pics. Another question though... The low profile Grand will support the RM2 as well as other BF RBAs, but the standard Grand only supports the RM2 right and Rob's modded IGO right??

LP Grand fits: LP RM2, Cyclone BF with AFC, some other modded RDA's wider than 15mm

Standard Grand (and Mini 2.1) fits: regular RM2, IGO-S BF, Cyclone withOUT AFC, Divo and other modded RDA's under 14mm(?) and 510 cartos and atty's

As you can see, lots of options with either profile. It's just nice to get the LP if you're definitely going to be running the larger modded RDA's out there. Standard is all I have, I'm easy to please. But that LP option is sweet, too. Only YOU can make that decision. Although, you can't go wrong either way, for real.

I have mini's and love them. I run 1.6 ohm coils with the RM2 and it fulfills all my needs and then some. If you use a mini you will probably need to carry spare juice and a battery. I do not refill during the day but I carry all 3 minis to work with me. I usually go through 1.5mils from each in a full day.

One thing to consider is you will use 18650 batteries in the grand but there are some very good reasons posted above why that may be the best choice for you. In the end either can be a good choice depending on your habits and needs. This is a win win...

Good luck

I couldn't decide, so I got both. :p

the Grand I only use at home- it's big to me. I love it to pieces, but it's for at home, so gets used in a manner that I only have to change the bottle and battery every other evening.

the Mini 2.1 goes everywhere with me, with a spare bottle and battery for longer than the work day. prior to adding the RM2, battery and bottle would last me all morning, drive to work, 3-4 quick vape breaks, drive home and just about to the time I'd switch to lower nic in the Grand.

I'm happy I have both, and I want another of each.

That is correct, but with the huge woodvil sale Fri night - it isnt surprising. Just use the "notify me" feature - I imagine it wont take long for a restock :)

Thanks! If I pull the trigger I just definitely want to do it before Pbusardo does his review - then I may never get one!

And yeah I'm always late to the party. Two days after I decide I want something I miss the big release! Story of my life:facepalm:

REO Grand and RM2 ordered and confirmed. Thanks CreepyLady.

@jrenae4 - RM2s are in stock. Website says 76 pieces are available.

Okay - I was probably looking at the wrong thing LOL. This is gonna be a long night of reading...

Edit: The brass one is out of stock. I just saw the other one. I can see where the brass would go lovely with the wood. Thanks!
