Hello, my name is Chad and I currently own the Xhaler and loved it from the first day I used it. However, I have been unable to use it recently.

My first thought was that it was just a burnt out atomizer. So, I replaced it with one of the spares I bought, but the Xhaler still wasn't yielding any vapor.

Then, I thought the rechargeable batteries crapped out on me. So, I replaced those as well. Alas, it still isn't working.

I have no idea what is wrong with my Xhaler. Please help!

My experience is to clean it regardless even if you've only used it only a little. I don't know if I'm really sloppy with juice or what but if I use the xhaler daily I have to clean it at least every 3 days. I use rubbing alcohol in the inside of the tube as well as the inside surface of the button with a q tip, though I have the old standard button not the new ones. If you have the xs xhaler I've noticed problems with regular batteries at first as the sizes were not correct after trying 4 and switched to a High Drain Battery with no problems since.

Also make sure you aren't using a LR atty with two 3v batteries on the Xhaler.

First guess is the spring may have collapsed. (Like LM3 said) If so Drew sells em and you can easily replace it urself.
Second guess is maybe the button contact needs cleaned and/or sanded.
Check out Drews videos on taking it apart and cleaning and I think you may solve the issue.
Good luck and hope its something simple. :smokie:

@lawnman3 The spring is still "springy", however, I have not cleaned the atty contact piece since it arrived in the mail. I watched one of the youtube vids on how to clean the Xhaler (Dr. Vapor); do I really need to get some name brand cleaner or can I use rubbing alcohol with the same effect?

@rosesense I'm using Drew's HV juices.

@crashtestjeep Yeah, I checked out Drew's vids, too. I'm beginning to think it's the button contact. I remember I cleaned it a while back with a Q-tip and this black shiny gunk was on it after I cleaned the inside... I think I should have left it in there? Is that the stuff that helps the button make contact or something?

Thanks for the help, everyone. I'll take the advice, tips, and tricks to practice. Any more help would be appreciated! :D

I also had the same issues just a few days in. I gave it a clean with isopropyl alcohol & it worked well for a few more days. I then pulled the whole thing apart & cleaned it thoroughly with isopropyl, & used a little noalox, & it's been fine ever since (although one set of my 6v batteries has died, so I only get one sesh daily now :()

Noalox seems to be the magic potion, so get yourself some if possible. It was nearly impossible to find here. Even with a description of what it is/does, I could not get anything like it from auto, hardware or electrical suppliers. Luckily a fellow Aussie vaper sent me a little sample of it

Noalox is extremely hard to find even when ur stores carry it bc the tubes are so small! :) I asked a guy in the electrical isle and he said "isnt that an antioxidant?" He led me straight to it and now I notice it everywhere.

Its really cheap and a tiny bit goes a long way. It doesnt have to be name brand, just any electrical conductive anti-seize lube will work. Has to be conductive tho. ;)

Here's the update:
The Noalox came in the mail and I put some on the metal threads (but not the end with the plastic cap) and I put some inside the Xhaler where the button makes contact with the inside of the Xhaler, and it still doesn't work.

So this is what I did to try to "fix" my Xhaler:
Switched out the atty, replaced the batteries, cleaned the Xhaler, and used Noalox. I'm beginning to think I have to replace the button.

Sigh.
