I made a tekkeon mod via Chevs mod. My question is how long are you guys/gals getting out of your battery life? I get about 4 days of heavy vaping, but once the red light comes on I have about 1 1/2 hrs of vaping left. also are the batterys replaceable? Im assumeing that they will die at some point but how long (6 months)? has anyone replaced them?

Mine won't ship until Monday-ish or so. I got one with a 3-setting slider switch on the back, just under the button for 4.5, 4.8, and 5.2 volt options. I'm really excited. How does it vape? And what atties and/or cartos work well with it? I believe because these are relatively new, we don't know about the longevity etc. They're Samsung protected batteries from what I understand. From those I've talked to, everyone loves them. So I have high expectations.

I've never pushed mine into the red. And probably will never unless the power goes out for days on end :glare:. Not sure that's good for the batteries... Is it? Have you tested the voltages at that point? (On each battery that is...) I have gone for over two days and finally got a little into the orange (half green - half orange) with MY standard atties. These days I charge every night - regardless.

Using low resistance atty's I can get a full day. Never push beyond that.

As far as replacement batteries: I know not a source for the samsung but I'm sure when the time comes I'll find some. I believe they are unprotected...... haven't really narrowed down the complete functions of the charge control circuit so I'm not sure if just any, protected or non protected batteries would be suitable. I DO know the on board charger goes to the extreme when charging. They will often test out at 8.7V when complete -- a little scary for me - but hey, if that's their design it SHOULD be engineered to be able to handle that and charge acording to the batteries specs - or so I would hope....
