Heh. If you like a kinda "steam punk" look, the iTaste 134 might work... http://http://www.innokin.com/itaste134.html
How much are you willing to spend?
with that budget in mind, don't forget batteries and a charger. unless you have those already.I'd like to spend under $100, but could be convinced to spend more. The eVic has my interest at the moment.
Agree that box mods are ugly... you learn to like them later.
As far as a VV tube mod.. it all depends on whether or not you want to buy now, own forever, or buy now, then replace later.
Provari is an investment that will take you through the long haul - the others will break, and you'll be looking for another solution down the line. Not necessarily a bad thing, as by then, maybe you'll be ready for a mechanical and rebuilding.
Are you concerned about longevity, or only about the next 6 - 12 months?

I just can't!! It's so ugly!
Logically, I know the box shaped mods are good, but I think they're ugly, so I don't want one. As for the Provari, having only 1 button makes navigating menus a pain in the rear.
It really doesn't in my opinion. There just aren't that any options on any given PV anyway.

Try a mod that uses an Evolv DNA, which shows your battery's state-of-charge, as well as your resistance and power setting at all times, and has a rocker switch to change power settings. Sorry, but it makes the Provari's single-button user interface look almost pathetically clunky and arcane. It really doesn't in my opinion.
The part in Bold should be read several times. Any number of PVs will work for you. Provari are expensive but supposed to be extremely well made. An innokin MVP would do wonders if you can get used to the box shape. While Vamos are popular, I wouldn't buy one because of the many issues I have seen on here with them(there are more than one manufacturer I believe). All of them are going to have great pros and cons whichever you buy you will have to learn to use, so the single button thing (to me) isn't REALLY a factor. One I would avoid unless I was absolutely sure about is the Innokin VTR as you are limited to which topper you use on them. That and they are extremely heavy.I use a k-100 mech without any kick on my nautilus and i get tons of flavor and blow plums of smoke..dont over think this, theres 10000 differnt opinions about this that will leave your head spinning, i just found something appealing that interested me and BAM awesomeness.
