I've been searching threads all morning, but I am so ignorant of drip tips that I'm not finding the answers to the things I'm wondering.

1. I am currently using KR8s. I've seen no mention of using these with KR8s. Do they adapt to KR8s, or will I have to pick up a 510 setup? I'm not against doing that, but I like what I have and would prefer to continue using it if that's possible.

2. Where is the drip hole? Is it the mouthpiece end? I realize this question sounds ridiculous, but again, I am clueless.

3. What is maintenance like for these things? How often do they need cleaning, and how do you clean them when it's time?

Any answers would be appreciated. Please be simple though, sometimes I ain't too bright!

Here and back
Don't know about using them with the 808 but a 901 atty will fit on the 808 batt and then you can use a drip tip. You can even get adapters for a 808/901 to 510 so you can use a 510 atty on the 808.

I have NHaler drip tips, they are my main vape. You do put the liquid into the mouth piece end, cleaning is not an issue.

You'll never (almost never) go back once you drip.

I am kind of curious, why do you want a drip tip with an 808 ? If you are using 808 cartos I think the drip tip would be dripping into the center hole of the carto, which is not where you want the juice to go.

Quite simply, I like to play mix and match with my juices. I'd like to be able to sample blends using just a few drops rather than filling up a whole carto of something I may or may not like.

I'm asking these questions because I don't know anything about them. So drip tips can only be used with separate atties? That's disappointing. It seems I'm going to have to break down and deal with atomizers. I really wanted to avoid that.

I can understand why you don't want to use atty's . I didn't like them for a long time. Now I do use them if I am just sitting watching tv, or mixing things to try. But I use cartos for convenience most of the time.

One mod I found worked pretty well for 808 cartos. I found a thread a few days ago about this with a video. Of course I can not find it now to link it for you. This may be an easier solution for you then switching to attys and drip tips.

Remove the filler but not the center paper that makes the center hole that is wrapped around the atty from an 808 that has been used, very gently pull the filler out leaving the center "tube" then you can drip into it on the side, much like you do with the filler in. I tried it with my 808 cartos and it did work pretty well. I killed one carto because I was impatient about getting the filler out and messed up the atty tube thing. The second one, I gently (like the video said) twisted and rocked the filler out so I didn't break the atty part. I liked it alot. You could refill the carto till the atty dies. You also dont get the burnt filler taste any more. I suppose you could get a drip tip to replace the caps for easier filling but you wouldn't need one.

Drip tips are AWESOME. Dripping performance is always better than any cartridge, especially for flavour so the only thing that can be better than the drip is just an AFS. The drip tip has a big hole where you put your mouth where you directly... drip! It gets tighter the closer it gets to the end so that the drop directly falls on the bridge of the atomizer. Since the e-liquids are thicker than water the drop won't completely flow in the atomizer but for the liquid tension, just a tiny quantity tends to get stuck in the hole. This DOES NOT AFFECT drinking, because it's so tiny that you should hold your PV like when you try drinking the last drop from an empty bottle. If you don't like that micro drop you can just blow inside the drip tip, so that it will fall inside. Since I tried drip tips I'd never go back to normal dripping again because I can simply do it without removing the cartridge. About igene, after a while you will need to wash it. The last awesome thing about them? Drip tips are eternal.

You can use a drip tip on cartos with no problem. I have the 510 T-Tip from Super T Manufacturing and it fits just fine on the KR808 cartos.

drop tips work on cartomizers just fine...I would suggest getting delrin ones versus any of the metal ones...because with the wire height varrying in the cartomizer with a metal one theres a chance at the tip hitting the wire and shorting... but the 510/901 style work just fine (they have an oring for a gasket on them for a snug fit in the carto shell)
