Hey Happy Vaper and ECF members,

I'm currently browsing for some HappyVaper atomizers with which I could dip and drip with. I own an Ego and also two V4L (1 KR8 auto, 1 KR8 manual) batteries, so the best thing would be an atomizer compatible with the 510 (so that the Ego is compatible, and the KR8 just requieres an adapter) or the 901 (since it only takes an adapter to make the it Ego-compatible).

Also, some recommendation to dipping/dripping would be great.
I am mainly a Cartomizer user, but I fill my cartos myself. I want to dip and also drip because I like to try e-juices and it's not cost effective to buy Cartos for 3mL samples I don't know I will like.

I might eventually be dipping-only or dripping only but right now, I love the ease of use of my KR8s.

What are your suggestions?

I drip a 510 atty and always use and ego 510-510 charger adaptor to prevent liquid leaking into the battery connection as well as reduce the on/off thread wear on the battery, and it has worked awesome for me for that purpose (buy a few, their cheap enough and will sometimes separate with constant on/offs).

I found I didn't like "dipping" myself, but the 306 atty is the best for that chore.

I haven't used KR808's in a few years, but there is no reason an adaptor (510-->901 & 901-->510 ) cldn't be used as if I'm not mistaken the 901 and 808 threads are the same.

Give Jack a phone call or pm or email, I'm sure he can advise you on what to use to achieve what your looking for, and I'm sure you'll get a quicker response than from the sub forum :)

Hey h0p3r!

Sorry for not responding to this sooner. Very crazy lately!

As Greg mentioned, 510 atties are great for dripping (I use the same). 306 atties are also great for dripping, and dipping as well.

If you want to kick it up a notch, you can try 510 or 306 Low Resistance atties. LR's run hotter and provide more vapour per second, when taking a drag.

With LR's, you have to be careful to always keep them moist!

Also, for dripping, drip tips come in handy. If you go for 306 atties, be sure to get a 306 drip tip, and a 510 drip tip for a 510 atty. You can use an empty cartridge (as a mouthpiece only - no filler) for dripping, and just pop it off every time you want to add drops. If you decide on LR, I would definitely recommend using a drip tip, as they can get too hot and melt a cartridge.

If you have any other questions, please let us know!

Happy Vaping!
Rob

When I'm sampling different juices, before moving to the next I will blow out the attomizers from the mouth end into a kleenex covering the threaded end, wipe up the threads and center post, then reattach to the battery and put a couple drops on the atty bridge of the next juice to sample.

Many times I will just vape away the present juice (about 5 good hauls for me), then add the next two drops of the other directly on top of the present. Sometimes, you discover a good combination to play mad scientist replicating, and if not, the second flavor takes over quite quickly by your 2nd or 3rd haul most times...... that is....... unless its a very STRONG lingering flavour your trying to beat out.

The odd time you'll get a flavour that is so overpowering that shy of giving the atty a proper cleaning, quick dry burn, then priming with just VG or PG and puffing that a bit before adding your next flavour, it will just stay in the background forever (or so my mind makes me feel, lol).
