Not sure how old your father is, but my father is from a generation who likes things that will last; not just use and dispose of when it fails...
It is a well made machine that gives a consistent vape for the entire charge of the battery. The threads are butter smooth. The 510 connector is made out of stainless steel and won't break or wear out. The manufacturer stands behind their product with a one year guarantee. If repairs are needed, the price for repairs is posted on their site!

He should get a black v2.5 with the extension ring and a couple sony vtc5 batteries. Oh, and a couple Nautilus tanks with the stainless/pyrex tank kits. That would serve me....err...him very well.

Haha highly unlinkely, I would be next in line! But considering that he is set on stopping the coffin nails, I highly doubt he will give up on it. Especially when Im here to help him through the way with juices and everything else under the sun.

lol. I'll be buying one very shortly. Been scouring the classifieds to find a used one that someone dropped a bunch of times that is beat to hell but still works great, since that is what i'll end up doing to it anyways. If I don't find one this week I'll be ordering a new one. He will not be disappointed. 
Buy for the same reason I did . I like where it is made , I like that it works when i push the button every time . Also love the size of the mini 2.5 version just nice in the hand ...good luck
The feel of a Provari is like no other vv I've come across. It just has a quality feel to it like a fine tool. (both of mine are polished)
Problem is, he'll need two. A Regular size for around the house and a mini for out and about.
However, it is a fine complaint to have.
Another good reason, if there happens to be an issue with it, he can just send it off to Pro-Vape and get it repaired although I highly doubt that will ever be the case.

Keep scanning the classifieds. Provari's seem to show up often. May not be the color you want - but then there's that J-wrap thing...

Ordering done! Thanks everyone, He chose the dusted silver with the PILA charger, extension cap and the kanger PT2. Glad he's doing this and Im sure he is too. Hardest part about this was deciding over the Zombie edition or regular Lol.
They come in a box now. And the manual can be found on ProVape's website.
Right?? I think I would have gotten the all white provari, or maybe the zombie edition as well
