Can you guys describe what you go through business wise (without giving away any secrets)...

I'd like to know how and where you do your ordering, stocking, etc... how do you choose what to stock and sell... how you decide how MUCH of something to order, what you face with your distributors, etc...

Anything that would help us all support V4L and understand the what's and why's of our end of patiently waiting for our delicious packages to arrive...

Well I can tell you that Steve the owner spends alot of time in China at the 2 factories that make the juice and cartos and he is trying to get his own factory so things will be better for us.They order what they think they will need but the company keeps growing and getting busier.V4L has only been around for like 2yrs and already become huge.So thats what I think I know.Maybe someone else can tell you more.

You live minutes from them and these types of questions...for a person nervy enough to ask them...would be better asked in person...and really in my opinion...I would view the bulk of them as obviously and blatantly company confidential. "Our end of patiently waiting", really? Certainly doesn't sound like a very patient statement to me.

As for, "Anything that would help us all support V4L" dude, you certainly do not speak for me so you can just drop the "us" from your statement. I absolutely support V4L as 99.99% of those on this forum do. So speak for yourself......wow..amazing!

Cbam, re-reading your post, I'm going to asume you didn't mean any bad vibe on this forum, you are just stoked, and i completly understand your enthusiasm! But you must understand that this is a very public forum and retailers, like V4L, have a company to run.
So please don't take offense from us that are slapping your hand, so to speak, please keep vaping and reading all you can about how happy we all are.
Just being a customer will keep you smilin :)

I admit to a certain amount of curiosity myself :) In my over-active imagination, I have visualized them in everything from the Keebler Elf tree to a quaint cottage to a sterile warehouse. Next I think I will try to fit them into a Hobbit house :p

My husband used to teach and consult in setting up operations in businesses of all sizes and types - from hospitals to major manufacturers and all things in between - large and small. The number one crime they all committed was not changing the way they do things as they grew...the old, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" syndrome...never realizing it was, indeed, broken. I don't think that's the case here because with their turnaround, they must not make a single misstep! Honestly, do they even take a lunch break???

Wait...an even BETTER idea! The Borders not far from them is closing...HUGE space with shelves already built in but, best of all, they could let us all come and vape :vapor: because there's a lot of seating area off to one side where the coffee bar used to be! OooOOOooo...better not think that way because I now see my DIY area and a storefront where people could come in and make purchases and learn to love V4L:toast: Maybe they could convert the music area to a mini-hotel and rent rooms to everyone from out of town!!

Okay, now I am being just plain silly  It's waaaay past my bedtime!

Some great ideas there Kanza, great imagination! I like the idea about the V4L crew being busy little elves living happily in little hobbit houses Lol. And a Vaping Caffe, something like the coffee shops you get in Amsterdam would be real cool pumping out busy little elf music. :)

Sweet Dreams, don't let the bed bugs bite! I just got up, I do miss you guys when you are all in bed and i'm the only one on here. LOL

I believe I qualified this by my first statement "Can you guys describe what you go through business wise (without giving away any secrets)...

I live an hour away.... from a distribution point, as I was informed.

I ask these questions out of curiosity, not malice. I find your response to be far more 'over the top' than my basic questions about a business that I didn't know existed a month ago.

I don't know what V4L goes through or has to deal with in looking for products, ordering or issues with suppliers. I'm simply curious and I see more than enough posts of people asking when a specific product will be available to want to ask the questions as to why some products seem difficult to get and what they go through to get them.

Please don't jump on my ... for asking more about a company I like and spend a good buck with or for asking for a perspective that I do not have.

People ask, cause they want it NOW. Unfortunately, th items come from China and they have some major holidays throughout the year that shuts everything down....They just had one this past weekend that gave them a 4 day holiday.....they work 6 days a week so a holiday is very welcoming....btw they do not get paid holidays in China. Now the reason for all the delays in getting stock....all vendors are experiencing it unfortunately.....Customs is one of those Dark Side/Light Side deals.....but on China's end, Customs is holding up a lot of packages going out....and then when they hit the US...well, that is a whole nother bag of beans...it's luck of the draw whether the packages come sailing through or are held for weeks at a time....so.....I hope this answers some of your questions satisfactorily. Unfortunately the stocking is out of V4L's hands as they order when needed, but any number of things cause them delays in receipt.....

In closing...."where's the Wowboy, Waffle, Pepperming, etc"??? Ask the monkeys at customs.....they need more bananas to let it go, course if they've tried them, they, I believe, just might be hoarding our goodies for themselves :grr:
