TemCo nichrome 80

I ordered a bunch of nichrome 80 from TemCo, and I'm wondering that since it's straight from the source, will I have to wash it or something because of machine oil and what not? I remember hearing something like that a few times so I'm not sure.

Not sure. You can torch it just to be on the safe side.

I've used it as is with no problems.

It's clean straight from the factory when you order from Temco.

I dry burn all my new coils before wicking. Wire can have oil on surface, dry burning cleans it perfectly.
