I'm still pretty new to the vaping thing but after finally getting the hang of rebuilding Protank 2 coils I stepped up to a Rocket which is a clone of the Kayfun 3.1. It arrived yesterday and gave me the best day of vaping I've had. But after cleaning the tank to try another flavor I found that the small O ring that goes on the top cap had been washed away in my sink. I couldn't get a vacuum to form and after searching here and google it turns out that was why I lost almost a full tank to leaking from the air hole. The ring looks like this:

It goes in the indentation on the top cap.
Being New Years Eve, the Home Depot type stores near me were all closed so I resigned myself to going back to my Protank for a couple days seeing as I couldn't get a replacement O ring. But on a whim, I took the rubber grommet from a PT2 coil, flipped it upside down, and attached it to the very top of the chimney of my Kayfun clone to act as a seal. It's been 3 hours so far and is working just fine. No leaks, filling from the top with the thumb over air hole method, flipping it upside down to finish screwing in the top cap is all working perfectly. Finally have a vacuum again. I know this is a super niche post but for anyone in a similar predicament just thought I'd share. Happy holidays all.
