Hiya @b3ndz :)

The way I like to think about TC is that the watts setting is how quickly you get your coil to the temperature setting you like. So, if you have your watts set to 55 (you don't mention what resistance your coil is), you should hit your temp relatively quickly. From there - how do you like it? Just with watts, nudge the temp up and down to where YOU like it, and the setting is right :)

It's .4 and I guess I'm just trying to make sure I can't ruin my coil. It's rated best 55-65. But once I set my watts I just wanna make sure it's ok if I wanna vape as low as 350 or as high as 500f

Do it by looks rather than by feel, set it to 200F and put some dry cotton in there, then you just gradually go up untill you see the cotton start to turn brown, take it down like 5 degrees and that's your temp. On the DNA board it's right around 410F

When I was vaping in watts mode I stayed at 20 watts to avoid over heating my high ohm coils. I use 30 watts in temp mode with the same coil resistance to heat the coil faster but avoid over heating. View TC as watts mode with a temp limit. Any temp limit above 420 can singe cotton and real high temps will be more and more like vaping in watts mode. If you use stainless wire you can switch back and forth and test the differences.

I've had a bit of a cough and sore throat so I decided to try out temp mode and I'm getting much cooler vape. But it's not helping right now my vg/pg is 60/40. I'm not a fan at all...my next step in this journey is to find much better juice. So far I've not found one I really wanna buy a second time ya know? Thinking higher vg will be for me as I can't stand that scratch you get in your throat. And just as reference I've only had sore though and cough for about a week. I've been smoke free for 33days and counting!

I have my set at 50w now. Im trying to go off what coil says. I can't really go any lower than 40w with this one. I just got the Baby Beast tank last week but I love it so far!

I did. Why not a REO? There are lots of that...me owns none. If there is any REO that matches Your expectations...get it!

Your decision. Depends on YO.

Me myself prefer wattage...or voltage...or whatever the battery is...mechanical. Don't really like automatic transmissions!

It's an american desease...sorry. Meant with that car thing...tons of ridiculous steel. Fillmore...I dig the fins...naaah!
