I've now cleared out and/or sold most of my old vaping gear as my reo and reo LP are all I'm now using. But I'm feeling the need to add to my Reo collection once Christmas is over. The thing is, I'm only using 18650 batteries with my Reos but have quite a collection of 18500s just sitting there. So..... a mini 2.1? Might be a good way of using the batteries and getting something very small for work. What do you think? Is the mini worth having over the standard size Reos?

I was reluctant to at first, the Grand is a great size and fits nicely in my hand, has better battery life and more juice, so I was a happy camper.

Then the last Woodvil sale happened and some of the 18490 Woodvils ended up in my cart. I loved them enough that my last Reo purchase was a Mini 2.1.

Around town I typically leave the house with a 18650 Reo and 18490 Reo. when I travel for business I take two or three 18490s with me. They are much easier to stealth vape with.

So if the shorter battery life and more frequent bottle fills is not an issue for you, I think they are great to have a few in the mix!

My first Reo was a Mini 2.1 - before I started buying Grands. They make for a nice small package. Batt life is livable, and you can always do a cheap and easy 6ml square/et al bottle mod to double it's joose capacity.

I have a couple of '650 Woodies, but also followed the mini's compact lead with an 18490 and 2 14500's Woodies as well.

I've got a couple of mini 2.1's and I think they are great. If you like a single nonsubohm coil, they can be a good out and about setup. Running dual coils or lower ohm singles tends to exhaust both the bat and the stock juice bottle pretty quickly (I never went below .7 ohms, mind, due to bat amp limitation considerations).

As it's winter now, I always have a pocket large enough for a grand handy, so the mini's don't see as much action.

With the new AW 1200's i get great battery life. And if i jacked up the ohms to around 1 ohm they would lasteven longer. Right now im at .6 ohms because this odin justcame off my grand that is waiting on its rebuild kit.. i love the mini, for work especially! Get one!!

My love- Kawa Reo LP w/ TRA SL door & LokiLab Odin.. Mmm Mmm

There is one up in the classies(Rasped, REO Mini 2.1 Low Profile with IGO BF + Brass Fogatty top $130). Does Rasped mean buggered up, I dunno, you can decide.

I know what a rasp is but I don't know if he took one to a mini or not. But it looks cool in the pics anyway.:)

I do .6Ω on mine with AW IMR 1100....no prob.

Disclaimer: I don't recommend anyone put a .6Ω coil in a Mini 2.1 with an AW IMR 1100 mAh battery.

Why not? A .6Ω coil, even on a fresh battery is only 7 amps. AW IMR 1100mAh will handle 16.5 amps... You could vape down to a .3Ω coil if you wanted, but the battery would need to be replaced quite often.

i have a mini, i bought it b/c they tend to take a little longer for the blemishes to sell than the grands. so $117 later i had an olive mini

i run a 0.7 ohm cyclone [triple twisted 32 awg] on it

my two primary uses for it are beside my bed, and going for a morning walk in my trackie pants [the weight doesn't make my pants fall down]

so it has it's place, since it is my least used reo the 18490 AW batts last long enough

I know. I was just covering my azz just on the off chance some newbie blows a face off and says "but, ol' treebeard said it was safe".:D
