I'm slowly learning the terminology but still have questions. What is a mod?? Is that basically your setup? What's a clone?? Is that a cheap knockoff of a more expensive mod? (I hope that's right). Thanks

I guess you already know what they mean by now with the info that was given to you by MasterChief...

But what the hell...

A Mod usually refer to a big (way larger than a smoke) personal vaporizer. The Provari is a mod, the MVP is a mod, the Sid is a mod, the Silver Bullet, the Vamo, the Evic, the Darwin, the K100, the Magneto, etc etc etc etc etc... are Mods.

The word Mod comes from the word "modification". Back in the old days, people were modifying flashlights, dremels, hairdryers to make them into powerful electronic cigarettes. It has become a standard word to define any non eGo or cig-a-like PV.


As for the clones... You are right... They are knock off of even counterfeits of original products.
