I bought 2 different flavors from these people. Im just starting out. At first i thought it was me but after trying a friends juices i know better. I bought both Desert Ship and Cotton Candy and they both tasted extremely bitter and had very little flavoring. Not sure if its just a bad batch or what but it is indeed nasty!!!

Tonight i added a bit of vanilla flavoring to the Desert Ship and its not quite so bitter. Trying to make it through until an order from another company comes in.

Read the reviews on this forum before you buy ANY vaping product. I learned the hard way and hard way costs you money and time. Hope this doesn't discourage you from vaping. Believe me, vaping instead of smoking can save you in health costs and quality of life.

I assure you Connie it did not ruin me. My buddies watermelon is to die for! I just hope the company i ordered from this time is good. They advertise using "double the essential oils". I fixed up the Desert Ship with some pure vanilla extract and i bought some Banana candy flavoring from the store and drowned the cotton candy since im almost out of the other and im vaping it right now. Its tolerable. The new stuff that i ordered is from a place called Sterling Vapor. I ordered it from there because of location im thinking i will get it really fast. Not to mention they had a 5-pack of cartomizers. It seemed tricky to find a place that carried both the cartomizers (and in stock) and e-juice. I think from here on out im going to buy some pre-mix and some good Lor-Ann flavoring. I hear alot of success from that method.

Just noticed you were a "neighbor". Im not real far from MO. About 30 miles east of St Louis here.

Well, hello there neighbor!

When starting out, it's probably good to stick with the "popular" vendors, to get your feet wet, ya know?

There's a good reason why many of these companies carry such high regard and a huge following, that's because they make good stuff :D Good luck!

Well hello back! For some reason its always a warm fuzzy feeling when i see someone in a forum that is local. Yea there seems to be a steep learning curve in the vaping world. Im learning fast...i hope lol. The thing i dont understand is why there isnt any local stores or anything that carry ejuice or equipment. Im thinking about personally changing that as soon as i learn enough. An online store with a local pickup option is the route im looking at going. Lots to learn first though!

Oh i forgot to add this. That cotton candy juice i have that i added the banana... well last night it didnt seem that i could overpower the bitterness. This morning i woke up and grabbed my Leo and i could swear it was like eating a banana taffy candy. OMG this is delicious!!! I used the Durkee Banana flavoring and its awesome. Yes i made sure to check the ingredients before i bought it. ;-)

Ya know, sometimes juices need some time to steep as well. When you first tasted those juices, were they fresh?

Sometimes, a solid week or more is needed to allow the juice to settle. Weird sounding, I know, but it really works for some juices.

We have two local shops here in Saint Louis that I know of. EliteVaporWorks in West County (Saint Louis) off of Page. And there's Crystal Clear Vaping just over the JB bridge (in Illinois) Columbia, IL.

1 week? Wow. Thanks i'll wait till the taste gets better. I find some of the juice flavour kind of taste flat.

Cheers!

Sometimes longer, depending on the juice. Tobaccos sometimes take a little longer. But remember, steeping is only used when you cannot stand the taste right off of the bat. If it's good now, vape it! If not, put it in a cool dark area for a week or so and try it again. You may like it then, you may not. After around 2-3 weeks and you still aren't digging it, then it's probably time to classify it, lol.

I ould think they had steeped at some point. After i looked again on their site i think they were those dekang juices if i spelled that correctly. You mention a week, im guessing those juices are made overseas. So with shipping to the US and then the shipping to me wouldnt that be time enough to steep?

And i had no clue about the local vape places. I looked and looked online and found nothing. Im looking into them right now. Thanks alot!!!

Thanks very much kind Sir. Ive talked to the guy from columbia. He doesnt do the local pickup thing anymore or doesnt carry stuff for the Leo sadly. Ive tried calling elite but there was no answer and the voicemail wouldnt allow me to leave a message. I was gonna see if he could do a paypal thing and i could pick it up tomorrow morning. Im going to try them back again.

Its looking more and more like im going to get in this business. From talking to different suppliers there seems to be a rather large demand for good businesses. Mix that in with allowing local pickup and quality products and it doesnt seem someone could go wrong.

First, welcome & congratulations! It concerns me a little that they advertising using oils. My personal opinion is that it is not good to vape oil into your lungs.

Best wishes finding your juice(s).

If you'd like you can move that from the realm of personal opinion to the realm of medical fact. Inhaling oils can lead to lipid pneumonia so I too was taken aback by the OP's comment regarding the vendor's use of essential oils.

if you dont mind me recomending some sites that carry great juice and cartos i will.

my #1 go to site would be Nitelite Vapor. they have some of the best juice on the market and are extremely well priced to boot. 3.50 for 10ml or 10.00 for 30ml!! they also carry Boge cartos and they are also well priced and in stock. they ship fast and have some of the best customer service you can get. not to mention they like to give out freebies. Bounty Hunter, Gold Rush, Capparillo Caffe' Latte, and Renegade RY4 are my favorite juices from them.

another good place is Joogler Juice. im not as crazy about their juices but they make really good quality juice especially if you like sweet flavors. they also carry cartos and they even give you a free 5ml sample of juice with each box. they are also well priced and ship fast.
Joogler Juice

there are plenty of other great vendors and i dont want to leave anyone out but those 2 are my go tos if i need both a single box of cartos and juice though.

a few notable juice vendors you should try. most also carry cartos, attys, drip tips, etc.

-Prime Vaping- some of the best juice you can get. great natural (extracted) tobaccos. most realistic fruit flavors ive tried.
American Crafted E-Juice
-Vaperite- top notch juice. great tobacco flavors. love everything ive tried from them so far.
Vaperite
-Backwoods Brew- huge following and really good unique juice
Backwoods Brew
-Alien Visions- great juice. very unique. must try. Bobas Bounty is a juice i always keep around.
Alien Visions E-Juice

my go to place when i need to stock up on cartos is Crystal Clear Vaping. they have a 15 carto deal (3 pack) for $20 shipped with a free drip tip and syringe and needle for filling (if you fill that way).
15 Boge Carto Deal (510) (edit: just seen they were local for you! not sure if they have a store front but check and see. they also have juice so this could be perfect for you!)

madvapes is also a good place to pick up cartos. they have singles of cartos you might want to try. so you dont have to buy a whole box just to see if you like it. many people like the ego mega dual coils they carry. they also have good prices on Dekang (made in china) juice if you need a lot of juice for cheap.

sorry for such a long post but i just wanted to make sure you knew some good places to go in the future. luckly i did a ton of research on ECF before i bought anything when i first started out. i wish i would have had a list like the above though it would have helped a lot. glad you stuck with it! keep Vaping and welcome to ECF!!

edit: there are many many other great vendors out there these are just a few of my favorites. i manly vape tobacco flavors of some variation. check out ECF supply forum for other good vendors.
