Just figured I'd give this device it's due.
Had my black and silver big chuck since february, it's been on many an adventure with me, it's used as my bulletproof vaping solution for parties and bushwhackin.
I knew it was tough but until last weekend I didn't understand just how tough.
I was out at the local reservoir flyfishing and took a bit of a spill on a beaver dam. Thought nothing of it, it happens often when I'm slinging and not paying attention to my feet, till I go to take a vape, it's not in my vest pocket, panic ensues.
After 15 minutes of frantic scouring the area I find (wow luck) submerged at the base of the dam (not so luck).
So I dig it out, heart in my feet, sit down, open it up and drain it, wipe the mud and slime out of it and off the battery, disconnect the atty blow it out. Then I figure what the heck its screwed and I'm not going back to the truck unless I need stitches (usual mentality), so I reassemble it after 5 mins, drip some fresh juice in, and the SOB works just fine and has been ever since!
Try that with any other mod or commercial unit.
Thanks Jeff for sharing your genius, lol the coating isn't even scratched.
