Why is the Chuck collar shaped that way? (Jeff, you're a genius)

Okay, so I've had my Big Chuck for almost a month now, and I finally figured out why the Chucks have a goofy "well" that surrounds the connector on the front collar.

I always assumed it was just an aesthetic design choice, but it turns out the size and shape of the well is perfect for capturing and holding juice that has leaked from the atomizer!

I use 901's, which can easily leak from the single air hole if you flood the atty. Before my Chuck, that meant a slick (or even shorted out) battery, a mess all over my hands, and a mess inside the storage case.

Now, when my atty leaks, it just pools neatly in the front of the Chuck, and I just dab it with a paper towel occasionally. I have silver end caps, so it's easy for me the see when liquid is there. My wife, who has glossy black endcaps on her Chuck, often doesn't even notice when her atty leaks, but still doesn't seem to have a problem. The shape of the collar seems to be just perfect for discouraging leaks, even when turned sideways or upside down!

Jeff, you're a genius.
