Well if you ever go ahead and make your move
I'll have a reason to put aside for Prague...Sandra's gonna be an old maid by the time
you get those other thoughts outta your "head".

Bro, believe me. The only thing you had to do to get me to
realize I want to at least visit CR was send me those pixes
& the pages with real estate ads.

I'm getting *very* weary of the sandpile..

I found a sweet fishing cabin in the wilderness for cheap-

Sandra is only 24. She's got a few good years left...

Addendum: in other words it's either dangerous to recharge or it won't hold a charge.
open your windows. don't breath the fumes.
what exactly is this, an ego?

Like a vape pen. Bag battery with some protection and possibly regulation, depending on model. The only ones I know of which have vented have been when an incorrect charger has been used. I actually think they are safer than most mods these days...

It's a Volt from Smokeless Image. I turned on my fan and the fumes are gone for now. I think I'm just going to throw it away. I'm not sure it's safe anymore.

I used the charger that came with it. I've had the battery for 3 yrs+ EDIT: It is a manual vape battery with no controls.

I'm aging backwards. My steady supply of Czech vitamins has done that for me...

yer link didn't work but it sounds inexpensive.
I never had an Ego blow but they do stop working. Whatever it's not worth the possible scars on your face..ditch it.

Completely agree. The battery cost about $12-13, not worth it. I also have some ego king/queen batteries 1300mAh but none of them has ever done this.

That's really pushing time. Those types of batteries shouldn't really be used past a couple years. I'd retire them when you get your new setups...

LOL I think it's having it's retirement party tonight. I'll just use my ego king/queens until my new stuff gets here.

That's a safer bet. I have some original Halo Tritons I bought back in the day which still work, but I am scared to use them now. The biggest problem with Smokeless Image and Halo- both of whom use the same manufacture, is that they last longer than is safe for batteries like that to use...

I still have my first battery, an outrageously priced Atmos my wife got me for my birthday/Father's Day combo
a couple of years ago. It's a 600mAh unit, still works 'cause I never use it..
Have several Ego 1100's I stopped using and a couple of Vision Spinner II 1500 mAh batteries that get used regularly.
Those type batteries rarely blow out unless they short and that unpleasant aroma points my nose to short.

I think the chemistry of the batteries just gets funky after a couple years...

yes, that's why they stop holding a charge after 600+ charges. But the hiss and stench sounds like
a cap popping. A battery is a kind of cap and it blows the same on a short.
If she had a tank on the batt when it hissed, crackle, popped it's a good idea to test the tank.

I've had those style tanks do that after I washed them and didn't let them dry overnight...

What method do you use to test your ejuice? If you use a dripper, which ones are the best and where can you get the best price and selection on them? What kind of equipment and do you need an adapter? I have been testing in carts but I don't think they are giving me an accurate taste test on my equipment. I use a Coolfire IV with iSub G tank and Eleaf iStick 40W with a Nautilus tank.
Otay, now to address your OP.
I use a cheapo RDA dripper that I got from FT for $5. It's a clone something or another.
It's easy to rewick after testing new DIY (or other) juice b4 filling the Kayfuns, Orchid or Fogger.

I did have a tank on there but just a cheap one. Tossing it too. The battery died a short time ago so I just threw it away.
