Has Anyone Had Good Luck With PA Black Tea?

I love PA flavors,but the black tea is driving me crazy. The first batch I got I called Linda about because it smelled so much like cologne. She was on top of it and sent another,and it's the same thing. I've mixed it up down to 5% and for the first few toots I still get a very strong cologne flavor/scent,then it goes to taste like tea with lemon.
Leaving the cap off hasn't helped either.
Am I missing something here?

Not just you..
I've had Black Tea juice before (V4L and Cignot ) that was good, tasted like black tea should.

The flavor from PA's Black Tea just...isn't.
To me it tasted and smelled like gin/ something turpinetine-ish. I passed it around to hubby and friends and they all thought the same thing.
Changing mixing % didn't help either.
I gave up on that flavoring and just buy it as a juice if I want it.

Uh oh.... I just bought a bottle of it and haven't tried it yet.

I was intending to make a Peach Tea flavor, so just maybe having another flavor mixed in will help it out.

I tried mixing it with PA Sweet Cream to get an English Tea,and um..........yeah.............not so much

The PA Chai Tea and Earl Grey Tea are the same way Very perfumey taste and smell. But so many others are delicious

I got the Black and Earl Grey Tea from PA, mixed the Earl Grey with some lemon and sweetener, the same mix with the Black tea, I think it's ok, but if to much tea is added it will taste like gin or juniper. Now I like gin but not with my tea

Can you try Green instead? It's a MUCH higher quality tea IRL.
