Howdy guys,

So I recently bought a vial of TFA M-Type from Wizard Labs.

I have my suspicion that it just can't be M-Type in the bottle I was sent... I mean, it says Marlbaro on the label (How WL markets the M-Type flavor) but it just smells and tastes horrible... But it's not from TFA this way, so perhaps WL mistakenly put the wrong flavor in the vial?

I have added it as low as 1%, and it's just a nasty lemon lime type flavor... Like I was mistakenly given the Mountain Dew flavor...

I know I shouldn't complain, cause they are only $1.50 a vial, but has anyone else gotten a foul taste from this flavor? I read some really good reviews on it before I picked it, but so far I have been really disappointed.

I'm afraid to get it again, but if it's possible I got a bum vial (which has never happened before BTW) maybe it's worth ordering another vial?

Is this flavor normally much better?

Thanks!

Admittedly I was only letting it steep for about 72 hours... I guess I look for instant gratification...

I haven't had to steep many of my TFA flavors much longer than that, and most of them are great... Guess I'll let a batch of 1% M-Type sit for a month and try it again...

Yeah, if you let any TFA flavor steep.. Let it be this one. It absolutely needs to simmer for a few weeks. I try to let tobaccos rest for as long as possible, but never because they taste awful at first. The flavor of the M-Type will change so drastically over time, you'll hardly recognize it as the same juice.

I'm gonna try the type m again. I haven't tried the long steeping process. Adeline, what is your percentage?

Start at .5% .. Never go higher than 2%. I think I made a terrible mistake and mixed some at 2%. It's steeping. We'll see how THAT goes. Haha. I'd been sticking to one flavor for well over a month and forgot myself!

.5% sounds great. I vape most of my flavors at low percentages. Thanks for your help :)

I actually diluted my M-type flavoring with PG to 25% strength so that I could use less than 1 normal drop per 10ml (my normal batch size.)

I generally use 1 drop of that 1/4 strength concentrate, with a good splash of some other flavor to soften it up some, but I don't like steeping mixes at all. However, I have set some aside for many weeks in the past, to find it much more mellow.

I like the 1/4 drop per 10ml to spice up tobacco absolute mixes, and a few others.

I'm up for the 0.5%. For my pipettes, that is one drop per 5ml. (my pipettes are 40 drops per ml)
