TFA Menthol

I've never used menthol before, but a friend of mine asked me to make soe juice for his ol' lady. I made a batch and she likes it, but I'm not sure how it's gonna come out after it steeps. Any advice you can give on how steeping effects it and how much to use would be awesome. Thanks, y'all.

Their menthol is 10%. It's pretty strong. I use around .5-1% and it overpowers nearly every other flavor. I would go drop wise until you get what you're looking for. It will likely be stronger right after steeping, and age with time, getting a bit weaker. It really depends whether you're mixing it with other flavors or on its own. I find some fruit flavors with the methol are quite nice. Good luck

I use TFA menthol often; All my "menthol cigarette" recipes use it. I prefer 9 drops per 10ml of finished juice. I find that menthol requires no steeping. I can add it to anything, shake and vape. I also have a mint/menthol recipe that includes 3% TFA menthol for a strong, overbearing "Altoids" sensation.

I had the same idea. Got some peppermint to mix with the menthol.
