Hey guys,

I'm somewhat new to vaping to bare with me :)

I have a IPV D2, great little device. I bought a kangertech subtank mini for it and it worked great for maybe 1-2 weeks. It then started burning my throat and the juice was burning up (I was vaping below 30 watts at all times). I swapped the coils for new ones and I still had the same problem. The tank also leaked like crazy from the vents so I decided I needed something new. I also want to vape at higher wattage for bigger clouds so I was recommended the TFV4 Mini.

I just got the TFV4. I took it apart to prime the cotton, let the juice sit for about half an hour before I started using it. The vents are all open inc the dripper. I started using it, great device. It takes a few hauls to warm up and start producing real smoke, which I assume is normal. One thing I also noticed is that when I take a big haul the juice makes a boiling noise. Is that normal? I'm curious on other peoples experiences with this atomizer.

Thanks!

Yes.. the popping.. crackling... popcorn in the microwave at high speed sound is pretty normal.. you can lower your wattage a little.. not sure what just blend you are using.... I usually do a 70VG30PG or 80VG20PG blend.. which gives some smooth clouds and good flavor at the sub ohm level.
Woots
Happy Vaping
