I'm going to buy a new tank, and I'm stuck on the crown v2 or the tfv 8. Both of them suck through juice but I had a lot of problems with my tfv4 with the juice leaking, and it sucking through juice really bad. Was just wondering what is everyone's say on the tfv 8 and crown 2? Does Anybody have either of them, and if you do which do you prefer

I don't have a Crown. But I have had the TFV4 full size and mini (ECF Contest). And now I have the TFV8. No question it mows through some juice. But it has much better flavor and coil life is vastly improved over the tfv4. I am at about 2 weeks on my first coil, the one is that is installed out of the box. Still tastes great and very little airflow restriction as it has aged. I haven't tried the RBA base yet but definitely had some problems with it being leaky in the TFV4.

Consumption wise I would probably go through 2 full tanks a day. Though it is a little hard to tell sometimes, once it gets down below the coil/chimney connection I refill as i notice vapor production is less at the bottom of a tank. Also so as not to burn some pretty expensive coils. I only use it out and about, and at work. When I am home I use an RDA.

I can't offer a side by side comparison but would rate it far and above the TFV4. I didn't really care for them. Gave them to the kids to tinker with.

Hey man, I've had the tfv8 for about 3 weeks now, graduated from the v4. I Can honestly tell you flat out i've had no leakage from the quad coil that came with it, I haven't tried the rba yet aside from removing the fused claptons and placing transformer coils in them. But I did test out the Octo-core and had no issues from it either. The only coil i ever had any leakage from on the v4 was the triple clapton RBA, and that was usually my mistake from not having enough cotton in the gaps. And of course the top became really loose after about a week and a half, which caused it to flip open randomly. But i haven't had any of these issues with the tfv8 full size.


Edit: I just talked to a buddy who has a crown and his leaks worse than my v4 he says. So you might want to reconsider or do more research.
