As I wrote in someone else's thread, my packages all arrived today. One of them was juice that I'd ordered with 15% VG, for throat hit and vapor. I've got vapor all right, and that's good. I've also got throat hit, and it's maybe too much of a good thing. I'm coughing like a 12 year old sneaking his first cigarette from dad's pack. Fortunately I ordered all of it at 24mg, which I've discovered is too strong for me. I think I'll dilute it down to 18mg with some water and see how that smooths things out.

It could also have to do with switching from an atty/cartridge setup to a cartomizer. That was in another of the packages I got today. I hope it isn't that, because I wound up getting 25 of the cartomizers.

24mg was a bit too much for me too (former Marlboro Lights smoker). The prefilled carts that came in my kit were in that strength. I am using 18 and 12, I switch off. None of my juices at this mg have much TH though. That or I've just gotten kind of used to it over the last week and 1/2. I even have a lemon at 24mg, but it doesn't have the TH the DK (?) Cappuciono / 24mg that came in the prefilled carts did.

There is more to TH than just mg. Other ingredients play a major roll and the setup your using. I have a juice that on my Riva is very smooth with little TH. On my 3.7 mod it's got much more TH.

If you're going to cut it use VG instead of water. You can get VG at many places locally just make sure it's specified as USP Grade. When you cut it you'll also loose flavor as well as the TH. No way around that.

Don't worry, pretty soon you'll be having days when no amount of throat hit is enough. Don't ruin your juice with water. Cut it with some more VG if you need to, but use an online DIY calculator so you don't ruin your stuff. Oh, and don't get too used to that 24mg, because before you know it you'll be ruined for anything weaker. :) Merry Christmas
