Weak vapor! I think Ive had enough....

I'm glad I read this thread!

I was having lots of problems with my new Tornado. Kept trying different PG/VG ratios, different juices, blowing out and cleaning the atty, the vapor just sucked!!

Tried the 2nd atty (glad I bought the Tornado cuz it came with 2), HOLY COW! That's what I was expecting the first time!! Now it actually produces the throat hit and vapor I thought it was supposed to.

So, bad first atty. Think I'll have any luck getting a replacement?? Man, talk about a difference.

EDIT: this atty is really noisy, when i do the initial primer puff, when i let up it goes peeowww..... hey, at least it's working. hopefully it's not running to hot or anything though.

I am getting really frustrated here! I can only get decent vapor and throat hit like 10% of the time with my 510...

My dad ordered one because he saw mine and he wants to quit too. He got it last Friday and I was able to try his today and OMG, HUGE throat hit and CLOUDS of vapor... That really ...... me off as I have to drag for like 6 seconds to get just a little vapor and a slight resemblance of throat hit...

My atty cant be dead, its only been 8 days.... plus, mine NEVER vaped like my dad's....

I dont know whats wrong, but all I do is tinker with this thing ALL DAY... analogs are much easier than this...

Any help would be awesome. Im so close to goin to the gas station and gettin a pack of camels

Natureboy, where did you get the parts from? You should be good to send em back.... Ive pretty much given up on my first atty, though I will try to clean it tonight.....


My second one as well, sounds like a torch! Its great, clouds of vapor and one hell of a TH! Im lovin it!

The first atty, works one day and doesnt the next, its very temperamental..... I'll try to clean it somehow, if it blows it blows,

Clean it. They're pretty simple devices. As long as the wick is still there and the coil still produces heat it should be fine. Probably just gunked up.

There's another component in there that's tough to verify is in good condition. If you hold it under a lamp and look almost straight down the hole in the connector you should be able to see a white ring. It should be pretty much exactly the size of the hole you're looking through. If the atomizer has gotten way too hot, that may have melted and closed up. Hasn't happened to me. Even on the one I fried in my pocket.

Got mine from Totally Wicked.

I was really disappointed with the performance after hearing so many people say how great it was. Even posted a thread about it, and no one had much of anything helpful to suggest.

Meanwhile, the atomizer was crap. Straight out of the box it performed terribly. The second one though performs like a champ. The crackling pop sounds it first made has actually stopped, and it's now almost silent but produces amazing vapor and throat hit.

Quite happy now. Unfortunately, TW is moving so they're unavailable until Monday. So I probably won't hear from anyone until next week. I'm wishing I jumped on the 510 atty deal someone was offering last week. What a deal that was....

So I had the same problem after first couple days I was excited then I had enough of pulling s... out this device and then... I found that brilliant idea with pyramid tea bags... it was like different world... ltotally new experience... and nobody can believe that Im not smoking analogs cuz I was heavy smoker.... for my age 27yo 2 pack a day is aaaa loooottt.... I could't stop smoking... was trying everything... pils, patches, gum, shots.... everything... couldn't stop not even for ONE day.... now... 21 day without analog.... I did try analog 3 days ago... after ONE puff I couldn;t believe it that I was smoking this sh...t for so many years.... Pyramid Tea Bags... great vapor great throat hit... now Im even trying to lower my nicotine level....

I had the same experience with Totally Wicked attys. The only item I was happy with was the Mega 510 Charger......very much worth the money.
