TH issue

Have a friend who wants to vape (and has a starter kit n everything) but is having problems with too much throat hit, even with low/0 nic (she smokes Misty Ultra light 120's.) When I got her set up originally, I got the standard (not all VG) cartos and juice for her.

Any recommendations for flavors with minimum TH? Will we need to get her onto all VG? She wants to make sure she can actually use the stuff before she orders.

I've found pear to be the mildest for me. VG is probably a good idea.

Manual batts and she does not direct inhale.

She'll get used to some TH over the course of a few days... I'd advise against VG unless she develops a reaction to normal stuff.

List of Smooth TH flavors I've found:

Vanilla, Ice Cream Sundae, Mint, Smilin', Milk Chocolate, Berry Sampler (all of them), Chocobanananana, Cola, Doc Pepper, Orange Juice, Strawberry, Mt Do, and Pear

List of harder TH flavors I've found:

Nuport, Redcow, Wintergreen, Grape, Peanut Butter Cup, Cool, Kamel Menthol, Cowbow Menthol, Cowboy, Kamel, Coffee Shop Sampler (all of them), Menthol, and Peach


I've probably missed a few flavors because I'm going off of memory here. Sorry.

Watermelon and Sour Green Apple have a pretty strong TH imo.
Blueberry cheesecake is mild

She may want to try an auto battery if possible. My experience with the new style auto short batteries is a much lighter draw. Combine that with a mild flavor and it might do the trick. Hilton is another flavor that I consider to have a very smooth TH.

Cappaccino or maybe CMFrapp (not Classic)? Or she may just need to adjust her vaping technique (mouth first) and take time to adjust. A lot of beginners think 'vape deeply' as if it's a cig. Cough.

I second the auto battery. How long has she been vaping? I know my first few days were causing me to cough. I find that the coffee flavors are very smooth. I started off with pg and had to switch to vg because pg was drying me out.

I would suggest a drop of tobasco in your carto.

Manual batts and she does not direct inhale.

I would try the auto shortys. The PT, manual and XL may be too much charge.
Then add to it the flavors others suggest and she'll probably be fine. It does take time to get used to the TH.

PS. Just tried a LR atomizer... is that as good as it gets? best i can say is, it provides a much needed improvement over the standard 510's... but still, decent at best.

TH! All Hail the Almighty TH! I, too, love TH. (Hey, I used to smoke Kool NFs!) 36s do suffice though I wouldn't mind a little more myself. Tobasco? What a joke that isn't spicy!

BTT: Yeah even in the 36s Pear, Banana, Blueberry, Pomegranite, and Margarita all had a softer TH to me. (Erm I think I've only tried banana in 24.)
