Went to a different B&M in the nearby big city (Monstor vape) because my closest smoke shop is closed on Sunday. I was helped by the new girl, and it was obvious that even as a beginner I knew WAY more than she did on almost every subject thanks to ECF. I'm not complaining, rather enjoyed explaining the concept of rebuilding my atties and her interest in it. Got almost everything I needed from a more experienced clerk, and the new girl sold me a new flavor juice after several taste tests.

I used to work at a vape shop part time just because I loved doing it and just applied at one in my new location. I am constantly reading about new devices, atomizers and everything else. I dabble in everything from different wick types, rebuilding, cartomizers etc. and I have personally used everything in the store.
I know I may be an exception to the norm but what good am I to a customer if I can't answer their questions?

I'm here, when I'm here
Well, good for you!! Teach more folks. I'm sure they'll need it.

I did the same thing at a vape shop in Tampa where the "expert" sales feller was feeding me a line of BS. I pulled ECF up on my smart phone, Volts,Ohms & Watts and said, "Lookie here. These web sites say 8.2w or 4.2v is the suggested max for a 2.2ohm single coil. Not 6v cause you'll burn your coil up". He wanted to know about ECF so he could sign up as a member and be able to learn more. I filled him in. :D

I love this place!! :vapor:

It doesn't take too long here to know more than most of the folks that work in vape shops! I have a couple locally that I won't go to because of just that. When I go into a shop i want to learn. I don't want to be looked down upon because I don't know everything, I just want to be educated and understand what I'm looking at. That's why I like the family so much. No judgements, just information from pro and con. It allows me to extract the information I need to keep from wasting the shop keepers time. Thanks to all!

Cool post= spreading the knowledge

I am glad I found ECF as well. My local shop is not available 24-7 like it is here. I really like my local shop as well. They have begun doing classes and bringing in local experts to share what they know free of change. So what I am learning there and here at ECF it makes me more confident about staying off of analogs and vaping safely.

The sharing of Vapeing knowledge is a wonderful thing, I remember in my noob days going to my local, and was I ever so glad they had some knowledge, however a lot of them don't hang at ECF as we do so I don't expect them to have my same knowledge as I and I'm more then happy to share with them if they want to know.

As a consumer I'm better off knowing more then them, and this is due to me finding ECF and u wonderful people.

Something about vapor stores kinda puts me on edge. Everytime I walk into one by my area they are pulling stuff out of the glass case and playing / vaping it and using almost everything daily... I sure hope they don't sell all this .... they use everyday... I wanted to buy a provari from my local store but I seen them play with the provaris everytime I walked in...

I can't speak for every vapor shop obviously but the two I've been an employee at we used the "display" (ie. the one in the glass) devices while at work because the owners wanted us to use devices/atomizers that were actually sold in the store. The only time we touched anything that was for sale was to confirm all the functions worked and the 510 threading was good. Never vaped on them though.
When a customer made a purchase though they always receive a device that is still in the box. I can't imagine them selling one they have used.
