i tried to make it discrete but total fail sinse the thing looks like a light saber
but it produces a good amount of vapor thanks to the push switch type.

but its too big to carry around so here we go again, this time with a ultra mini CR123a batt flash
i saw this mod on a jp ecig forum.
mdscf3090.jpg

did it with a blue LED this time, had to grind it to fit though

mdscf3091.jpg

was a bit hard to get everything together, the epoxy i used didnt dry very quickly, so it kept falling apart on me.
mdscf3092.jpg

finally got everything glued and wired up

mdscf3093.jpg

woohooo!!! done!!!! the epoxy is very hard and keeps everything well in place
mdscf3094.jpg

its Alive!!!!

Very nice! Dunno why....but I'm a huge fan of led's! Definitely like the way you incorporated the led light!

I've got to stop all this modding craziness (or find some way to tame it)...I've bought 7 different flashlights in the past week and placed so many orders that I can't even remember what orders I'm waiting to take delivery of, anymore! 8-o

thanks guys. yeah the led threw the epoxys really sets it apart. i have to figure out a way to make it more visible in sunlight though.
how would 2 LEDS in parallel effect the the current going to the atty?

hey Kamikaze. that AV, are you Momoko or Miumiu?? lol
LED forward voltage drop varies but typically is 1.5v or more.

So current could be no more than 2v across the 100ohm resistor= ~20mA
(0.02A) About 1/50 the atty current. So having a second LED will not affect the atty performance.

the blue leds i bought are 3v ,the guy selling them said i should use a 51ohm resistor.
there isnt much space in there really. how should i hook the leds up? can i tie the +s together with the resistor and lead that to the + circuit board and tie the - and hook it up to the frame?

The higher Vf means a lower ohm res is ok. 100 will be ok too. With those LEDs just connect the +s and -s together and use a single 100/51 res, or a 51/100 ohm res with each and put the pair in parallel. If too bright, put two 51s in series.
