I just joined the forum today, although I've been lurking in the darkness for about a month. Thought I'd relate my story, and how it relates to u.
I'm freshly turned 38 and been smoking since I was maybe 13...I think. So 1-2 packs/day for approx 25 yrs. Never really tried to quit, even though I realized the cigs would be the death of me. I'd bought some nicotine gum once, never tried a piece for some reason...most likely because I couldn't smoke with the gum, per the instructions. I'd been using SNUS to cut down, since I'd read that it was less harmful but didn't seem much different from Skoal Bandits...but I digress
Listening to the radio on the way home from work(which I'd been out of for 4 months), I heard the ad for 'smoke assassin' and thought I'd have to look into that...no tar, no chemicals, yet all the satisfaction...sounds great! But I'm wary of scams, and with a lil googling stumbled upon this site and some dire warnings about the 'smoke assassin' company and their practices.
So I poked around this forum a bit to educate myself on this 'vaping' thing and figure out where I could get an at least halfway decent e-cig. I researched several of the suppliers forums, til I figured out where the most satisfied customers were. And that was here! So I checked out the V4L website(after a few others of course.) Went with the UU kit...whats a passthrough? or a PCC? Whatever...in 4 a penny, in for a pound.
2 days later, I get a package in the mail! 2 days??? Holy crap that was fast! A package of neato, cool stuff...and flavors! The highly recommended Peach Cobbler, Parliament(in place of the Kamel I'd ordered, no biggy), a bunch of awesome samples and I think I also got Beer and Mint, although those might have been my 2nd order. I excitedly threw a cartridge of the Parliament on a battery and took a nice draw...ummm...ok, not really a cig, but sort of? Kinda weird, but I'll try it.
Smoked 6 analogs that day. Had my last one Nov 21. Saturday will be 4 weeks. And I haven't choked anyone or punched a kitty...it's like a miracle!
And even though I'm well stocked now, I still somehow place a new order every week or so! Just placed an order when I haven't yet recieved my last order from Tuesday! I think I'll have enough juice til June! But them V4L guys just keep cutting them sweet deals. And impeccable customer service!
