It's me again!
I just wanted to thank everyone here, even if you don't know me, which I don't think many of you do!
When I first started my ecigs, it was back when they first came out. Everything was new, I didn't know ANYONE else who vaped except for me.
I felt pretty alone in my new vaping habit, which was short lived due to my crappy first ecig (SmartFixx aka NJoy). A lot of the smokers at work loved my ecig, even though I thought it was pretty crappy. We would sit in the break room at work and my general manager at work even asked me to demonstrate the thing for him!
Anyway, it was a lonely couple of weeks for me and I stopped using the ecigs. Till now!
I find this forum with loads of helpful information and a great bunch of people who all support and partake in this wonderful habit called vaping! Seeing all this new information available now to me, which wasn't available before, has really given me a sense of community. Something I didn't have before! Now I'm probably gonna go crazy with all these different juice options and everything, modding my ecig and whatnot, but I will plunge headfirst into this! I also plan on being a walking billboard for the vaping movement.
I never wanted to quite smoking, but being a biology major, I know all the risks and stuff which accompany this habit. This gives me a pretty risk free habit and I don't have to quit the smoking thing. Now I can smoke, in a much healthier way (the jury is still out on just HOW healthy it is, or isn't).
I was watching some videos on youtube today and there are a bunch of people out there who think this vaping thing is much akin to DRUG ABUSE. They are saying stuff like, oh we should just load up our fancy gadgets with heroine and smoke that instead! This made me angry because ignorant people just are not fun. I'm glad the whole FDA debacle about ecigs went under and that the judges were smart enough to see that their claims were stupid. I just hope that other courts throughout the world also have this same outlook!
I'm also sure the big tobacco companies are on the alert for us, but I think vaping is going to take over in a big way. I predict we will see major advancements in vaping technology in the next year once other companies take notice of how popular it is becoming.
Anyway, thanks for reading my big long tirade! I just wanted to thank you all for giving me hope again for dropping the analogs and taking up vaping completely!
