Thanks for the carto filling tip!

I tried to find the thread talking about how to refill the carto with the condom plunge method. But it's buried!
I just wanted to say thank you! It is the best idea since the taryn spin. I tried it last night after a trip to Tampa..lots of used cartos to fill and I can't say enough about how quick it is and how easy. I still did the spin after..just to really get the juice in the batting.
Now I only have to take the white cap off to clean once in a while...you guys are the best!

How did you get all the liquid in the carto? I can only seem to soak up half (about 15 drops). I filled it to the half mark in the cap like the video showed and I just tried it with 4 fresh carts.

Please help me!

I only get about 15 drops in the carto too! 20 drops is a ml. But you may want to remember that 20 drops is what it was filled with originally. There is bound to be a small amount left in a carto, even when we think it's done. If it was really empty it would taste burnt!. Also it depends on your drops..some are bigger then others. Another thing is how thick your juice is. Mine is thicker because I add a few drops of Glycerin to my juice for better vapor. With the new juice coming out, I need less and less glycerin..Thanks Leaford!

I really don't like to over fill anyway, then I end up blowing juice ito a napkin or getting it in my mouth.

If I have extra juice left in the bottom of the condom..I just put it back in my juice bottle.

Oh I am filling from the atty end..not the mouthpiece. I just wipe the threads before using.

If you have a nice clean carto and you dont overfill the condom, it works like magic

Is this too much for auto batteries? I am worried about excess liquid...Is just wiping off the bottom enough?

I'm using it on an auto right now and it seem fine. I've had about 10 vapes so far and I haven't noticed any leakage. Leaford said to still give it a spin when you do it and I think that is why it seems clean to me anyway.

There is a guy on the web called Dr. Vape that has a video on you tube. That method takes to long and is to messy for me. I toss my caps and use the condum with hole for cap. pull off condum, fill, put on condum, vape. About 1 and a half min. process.

I tried the condom with a hole in it as a mouthpiece..The stupid thing kept sliding out of my mouth..plus I chewed on it. I don't do that with a white endcap.

So what I would like to know is if V4L can just order some white endcaps to sell to us!

Yeah..it would be a good idea to save endcaps and those rubber rings for replacing broken ones..if I ever have any atty's wear out!

I've heard many times about the "spin" but can't seem to find a video on it, and I don't quite grasp the concept. What do you guys mean when you say to give it a spin? Sorry to be so ignorant..I just can't figure it out.

So I just tried this technique. After filling the carto I vaped a few puffs and noticed a gurgle sound so I popped the cap off and took a peek. A little bit of juice leaked past the clear o ring and a little bit came up and out the mouth piece. It vaped fine but I think I will stick with the syringe and spin method that I have been using. I can get a full 1ml in that way and no juice is wasted. This might be a good way to refill the premium carto's if the tip is glued on and you dont have a spare tip to use when you break the glued one out.

SO I filmed it this afternoon, now I'm working on editing it into something I can upload.

It's tough because I can't use the files from my camera on my macbook, or my UMPC. ANd every time I try to purchase aiseesoft converter to convert the files to something I can use I get an error message from their purchasing system, regnow. SO I am having to downgrade windows movie maker on my UMPC, because the earlier version of WMM could use the files from my camera.



This is why I haven't been making videos since I got here, it's a LOT harder than it was back home. Shoulda gotten a PC. Or a different camera.

I've been using this method all week, but making sure all my carts are blank or boiled out because he quickly puts a little message up in the video saying that, other wise a bunch of juice pours out thruogh the top.

I Love This method. I didn't even bother refilling the other ways, wayyy too much work and no consistency. I love love this way.

NO! Don't get a PC!!! Your macbook will be so sad I use Aperture v2 on my macbook and it will convert anything - there are also third party freeware apps to get the conversion done too. Just ordered Aperture v3, heard it's really buggy right now but will be better after a few patches I'm sure. Aperture v3 will allow you to make incredible combination presentations including integrated slideshows with movie clips and audio - initial reviews have been very positive in this regard (despite all the sniveling about bugs).

Leaford, since you are a mod, can you get the Carto fill method linked on the welcome mat page with the Taryn Spin and Drip Rotate links, both youtube videos at least for now would help. I suggested this in another thread but no one paid any attention; it would really help a lot of users like MaryKay (among several I have seen on this forum including me a week ago) to find a link without digging or searching. If you are too busy improving the products we buy, don't take any time away from that effort, just forward to one of the other mods - they will listen to you!
