I'm fairly new to vaping - four months. When I started I never dreamed I'd even consider DIY. But then I started mixing different flavors of commercial e-juice. That was my downfall. From there I moved to adding sucralose to some of my juices. Now I have everything on hand or on order to do all of my own mixing.

I've learned a tremendous amount from this specialized forum. I've gone back through the last two years of posts, and have been amazed that the same questions are asked over and over and ad infinitum. Does no one bother to go back and read all the old posts? I've learned almost everything I need to know about mixing from those old posts (current ones, too) and am incredibly grateful to all the people on here who are willing to share their knowledge. I've found quality, dependable suppliers, learned exactly what I need and don't need and have downloaded an e-juice calculator to my iPhone. I'm pretty much all set.

I already have my flavorings. (I ordered them first since they seem to be the most exciting part of DIY). I've already boosted the flavor of some of my pre-mixed juices and when my equipment and supplies arrive early next week will become a bona fide DIYer. I'm excited and have the great people on this forum to thank for what I know so far. Keep up the great work and I'll try to keep up with you!

Thanks again, all!

Right On Larry.

Sounds like things are Working out Great. And you have Fully Tapped Into the Wealth of Knowledge that is here on the ECF.

Yeah... To be Honest with you, I get kinda Tired of Seeing Daily Questions that have be Asked/Answered about a Hundred Times Before. And I do wish that More People would do more Google Site Search for the ECF.

But People helped me when I was New. So I try to help Newbs when I can.

I'm working of 879 Bad Karma Points I have. So it's All Good.

I remember digging through this sub when I started researching DIY....but there wasn't 2 years to dig through back then and not nearly the traffic there is now. Kudos to you for your perseverance!

Yes, the same topics come up often. Hopefully there are some newer people around that aren't bored answering the same question when the sixth or eighth round starts....I think it was around that time I became bored with answering them...?

Congratulations! DIY is great when you have the first successes and then just gets better. You have a bunch of fun ahead of you.

to ecf Larry Jand to the wonderful world of DIY. There are so many wonderful threads on here that can help and some wonderful people too. You may want to even check out Vaping Zone. I really love their super concentrated and gourmet flavorings. They are very concentrated so you use a lot less in a recipe. I sort of feel like even that save me money. I'm a frugal mixer. :D Good luck to you and have fun. :)

Yup I know how you feel LarryJ. However, I knew when i bought my first few bottles of juice from a shop that i would end up a DIYer as that is kind of guy I am. I like to do this kind of stuff. I am only a few weeks into the juice making bit but last night i nailed a flavor and no w understand a little better about hitting that sweet spot. It was so good i sucked down a whole tank before i realized it LOL
The horrible part is now i feel like i need about a hundred flavors! it is like "Oh i am missing that and that to make this"

Kudos to you for reading back. I lurked for years before I actually joined, and I know the searches don't always turn up the answer (even if it's in here 100 times) but someone can always jump in and help. Congrats and "I already have my flavorings"... lol yep, maybe the 1st 1%... There's always something out there you HAVE to have...

Welcome to the dark side, we (can) make cookie flavors!
