Boris,

I'm terrible at describing nuances in flavors, maybe my sense of smell is just burnt out after 40+ years of smoking. I mentioned Virginia and Camtel because they're mellow flavors and should make a good tobacco base for creating an RY4 type recipe, plus I think they're good by themselves.

The FlavourArt tobacco flavors are strong but the recommendation you see on websites to "start at 1%" is way low. You can get good results from using between 5% and 10% for a stand alone flavor. If you want to sample these, Pure Vapes has 3mL bottles for $1.50 each.

Ageing, or 'steeping,' basically just letting the mix set for a while is the key to getting the maximum amount of flavor. Fruit or spice flavors can be good in a few days but tobaccos seem to require more time, maybe one or two weeks at room temp before the flavor develops properly. I've had one juice take as long as 3 months to reach its best flavor. You can cut some time off by placing the bottle in a hot water bath after mixing (Hoosier's tip) or storing it in a warm place and also shaking it every day or so.
