Gregory shook his head to try and clear it. Nothing in this place made sense and he was feeling like he must be dreaming. He walked away from the table and over towards a tall mirror. The mirror at first seemed filled with swirling smoke but as he got closer the smoke cleared and he saw his image. He gasped as he looked at himself.........

...disappear in the mirror. "What's going on?" "What's happening to me?" he shouted. As he let out his last scream, he awoke in his bed. Then the angel of the lord came unto him, snatching him up from his place of slumber. And took him on high, and higher still until they moved to the spaces betwixt the air itself. He brought him to a vast farmland of our own midwest. And as they descended, cries of impending doom rose from the soil. One thousand, nay a million voices full of fear. And terror possesed him then. And he begged, "Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?" And the angel said unto him, "These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots! You see, Gregory, tomorrow is harvest day and to them it is the holocaust." Gregory sprang from his slumber drenched in sweat like the tears of one million terrified brothers and roared, "Hear me now, I have seen the light! They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Darn you! Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers!"

If this is too much to build off of you can just use this(...disappear in the mirror. "What's going on?" "What's happening to me?" he shouted.)

None of this made sense to Gregory but at the same time he knew exactly what was goin on....and that this was real! The carrots? The rabbits? Its all tied together. ..! But what's to come of my feast!?....

As Gregory came back to his senses he realized that he had traveled through the mirror. As he looked around he said to the air "wow, that mirror is stronger than any trip I ever took in my younger days" He noticed that he was in a large chamber built of stone; he saw that there were portraits hung along all the walls, one in particular caught his eye. As he walked closer to get a better look he began to shake, with a gasp he said to the air "It is my daughter, my long lost daughter, what the heck is her picture doing here?" At The instant, the rabbit popped out of the mirror, saw Gregory, saw the picture and said....

Gregory jumped, then looked over at the Rabbit. Glaring he said "You had best get your rabbit .... over here and explain what my daughter is doing in a picture on the wall in this insane place, otherwise it is rabbit stew for you". The rabbit swallowed and cautiously replied .........................

Boo!!!!!!!

Your daughter had fallen into that spring long before we had found the magical way of letting Humans breathe under water. So for fear that she would drown and be lost forever, her image was painted on this special canvas... and like the Picture of Dorian Grey, the picture will age, while she remains young and beautiful forever!!

Knowing his daughter would be forever young brought him happiness and sorrow at the same time...he didn't kno wether to thank the fancy rabbit or strike him out of anger!..
