Nothing, the carriage and its occupants just floated inside the shimmering sort of there mountain. Gregory, immune to much of anything unusual by now, looked at the rabbit "Well, Mr Hare, what now?"
They jumped out of the carriage and slowly floated down to the floor of what Gregory assumed was a cave floor. Upon landing ever so gently, the hare finally gave Gregory some information that was useful! He said....
"Okay" said Gregory. " I guess it could be worse?" But little did he know he was in for the craziest part of this adventure thus far! "So how do I go about finding this Golden Turkey?" Asked Gregory. ..
He looked high and low, walking around the cave, even trying to make turkey sounds in the hopes of luring the thing out. He looked over at the rabbit who was rolling on the ground laughing now. When he caught his breath the rabbit said..........................
When's the last time you've seen a turkey in a cave? Hahaha. You gotta find your way outside. The only way to get there is from the inside out, that's why we flew into the mountain. Hahaha.
Gregory, his frustration mounting, grabbed the rabbit by his ears and ran right towards the shimmering mountain wall. With a loud swoooosh he and the rabbit passed through the mountainside and found themselves ....................................
They fell and they fell, Gregory glared at the rabbit who smiled and pulled a cup and tea pot out of his coat. He poured and held the cup cup then he said "Tea?" .............................
"No I don't want tea!" Yelled Gregory. And just then the rabbits parachute deployed! They coasted down to the botton and now Gregory, beyond frustrated with the rabbit could begin his search. ...
The rabbit, tapped Gregory on the leg. Gregory looked down and the rabbit sheepishly held up a large net. "Thank you Mr. Hare, for once you are being helpful" The pair quietly headed off towards the sound.
And as Gregory looked back up from where they had just fallen, there was a giant bean stalk that disappeared way up into the clouds... and coming from the top of that was the faint "gobble... gobble" he had heard!!
He thought to himself: Oh geez... what have I gotten myself into now!!!???
One hand at a time he climbed up...almost as if he was climbing a never ending ladder. After some time the gobble got reallly loud...he was getting real close now! ....
